Please take a look at this web page:
http://www.townofyountville.com/departments-services/administration/town-mission-statements
Along w/ mission statements, it shows the Town's current logo - it's a little too busy and cartoonish, but it conveys the concept of quaint, small town/village. Think more craftsman-style, no high rise skylines.

Envision Yountville is the title of the Town's General Plan Update program. The General Plan is essentially the blueprint for the Town's future (please no rolls of blueprints or Jetson's themes). We're asking the community to envision what the Town will look like in years to come. We know the primary desire is to maintain the small town character where neighborhoods are not dominated by the tourist industry.

Consensus of the Town is primarily text with minimal graphics. Please see the Town's logo on Contest page. Buildings, rooflines, hills etc. are too similar to the Town logo - we need a fresh new look.

Please see recent attachment - this is a very rough concept that might be helpful. The thought being simulate a grove of trees. 'ENVISION' in cut out block letters (no outline) of a green tree canopy, 'YOUNTVILLE' simulating tree trunks (not literally, but straight line letters). Just a thought.

OK Finalists - you can use more colors than green! Green was suggested as primary color - please use some more complimentary colors.
