A touchstone is a black or gray silica stone that assayers used to test the genuineness of gold. they would rub the precious metal against the stone leaving a streak of gold.

I am attaching my current logo. I don't hate this logo, but I don't love it or even feel proud of it.

Hey, I would really like to thank everyone for their submissions. Great work, much appreciated! As much as I like the designs that are essentially gold on black logos-I would love to see some ideas that are a departure from this concept. I guess, I wonder if there's something that is out of the box that's better than anything I've thought of so far.
