Touch LabLogo Design Contest

Thank you very much for the concepts! I did not expect to get them so quickly.

Some thoughts:

So far, I liked #8 and #5 but I am still open to different designs.

For #4, I liked the idea of incorporating "touch" into the image but I would prefer simpler and cleaner image, like icon used in iPhone apps.

I'm open to other designs but the color is pretty fixed to blue as you can see from the rankings. It is OK to use other colors as long as the base color is blue.

Some thoughts on the designs:

1. I would like something in the logo that would tell the site is about iPhone/iPod touch. The unlock button in #37 is a good example of it but I'm open to other ideas.

2. I'd like more gradation and/or gloss in the design.

3 Uniquness and originalty in shape. Not just regular letters and circles.

4. the background should be white. The logo can be horizontal in length or square.

Dear CH,

I am thinking the on/off button is covered by the copyright law (owned by iPhone) and maybe you can not use it in the logo. Its just a tought. You have to be sure to dont have problems when you want to register your logo.

and also the iTunes logo from iPhone

I don't think Apple would have a problem unless their designs where used on an actual product or to promote something different.. I mean it is a website for Apple related news after-all right?

Can you please rank the newer designs? Or mark them "not interested" if you do not like them? Thank you!
