Awesome job! Could you make a simpler version? I REALLY like this though! I like how you used our name and BRASS since you did not have an instrument. Any way you can get our "To Serve Veterans" on there?
Yes, thank you, Do you think there would be some way to include the shadow of a soldier or musician? I am not an artist and you clearly are. Our mission is to bring music to veterans in hospitals, I want to make sure some how that is in the logo, not sure how to though...
I love #17 LOVE LOVE it! What would #18 look like if you could see the soldier better and did not have the white stuff around it? I am worried about both being too busy, the soldier is more important to me that ALL the patriotism, patriotism is good but maybe we can down play that part. After all the mission of our organization is to help soldiers in hospitals. Any ideas?
I LOVE the new place the soldier is, is there any way to also have a bugler like that also or some sort of music? I think the back ground red white and blue may not work for us. Any other concepts? I really like it but I am not sure how this would work on an embroidery...
I am changing the direction, but I believe the stars and stripes can be a great embroidery. I envisioned the white to be blank (not embroidered) than the rest of the colors put on a white uniform (assuming your uniforms are white?)
I like this new bugler as well. Are you uninterested in the trumpet "brass" graphic?
I really like #37, how about red for the word "Patriot" so we have full red white and blue. Yes our uniforms are white, thanks for asking. I do like to Stripes too, I just want to make sure our message is No. 1.
Good suggestion on the red. It made the image pop.
Here are a couple of submissions that help tie it all together. It would be a 5 color embroidery. Leaving white out and instead letting it shine through from your uniforms.
There are two directions I can see this going, No.1 we go military/government emblem/coat of arms thing No.2 We go modern logo. I have been directing you in the more conservative (and my choice) military emblem stuff. I really like what you have done and I think it works really well as a patch for a military uniform. (BTW a member of the president of the United States Old Guard fife and Drum Corps was the one who noticed the miss spelling lol) Thanks so much for putting so much time into this!
#53 I am very impressed with. Here are my ideas, can we make the outer ring a like dark blue? and make the rest of it stars on the outside? Maybe a blue like on the flag? Thanks for keeping it in the circle.
OK... Please replace my latest entry with this one while I work on the changes you mentioned. I am feeling a little dumb today, as I mis-spelled "ensemble" in the latest version :-) I am definitely one of those folks that need spellchecker daily, but sadly the program I use for drawing (illustrator) doesn't have spellcheck :(
This is a darker blue. There is an issue with colors looking different on different screens. So a dark blue could look a lot lighter to you on your screen due to the differences in our monitors. They actually make a device that can calibrate screen colors for users, but they a pricey.
#75 is awesome! is there a way to see more of the solider, I do not mean putting the soldier in the letters but getting more of the torso, maybe make him smaller? I like the soldier but I want to make sure there is no question what that image is. Also, the stars seem a little close to the edges...
I am sorry to be so picky, I really like it! I am not the only one making the decision on this but I can tell you it is definitively at the top of the ideas we are looking at.
Like I always say, nothing is too picky when your picking the design that will brand your organization for years to come. Let me know if you see anything that is needing adjustments. I would guide you more, but you have been going in a direction I really like also, so I am interested in seeing where it ends up.
PMS color code is corrected for the red and blue to match our flag. (great idea I should have thought of already).
Love the shadow buglers, here is an idea they may put you over to top with our group, since you have 3 buglers, could you make a version with one holding a trumpet, one a trombone, one a horn or one a tuba? or maybe 2 trumpets and a trombone would probably work best. We are getting a lot of different ideas, maybe this would work better since we are a brass quintet usually (2 Trumpets, 1 french horn, 1 trombone, 1 tuba)
I would LOVE to see your ideas, you read my mind about putting the musicians in a lighter color then the solider.
Just so you know some of your logos I have tried to make #1 at times but the contest wont let me. They are going to look at your stuff since you are new.
#132 is great! Any ideas for using that brass and soldier in the circle?
Also #132, I am not a big fan of mixing Gold and black with red white and blue.
Ok here are some things I have noticed. about #134 and others, The french horn is on the wrong side, it is always on the right side of the french horn player, never the left, I am sure you can easily move it from the left to the right side, so you can see the bell the correct way.
I really like the white stars the best, I miss them!
Can the upper and lower part of the circle blend a little better? It seems like the bottom red stripe got cut off? I am not sure about the gold stripes around ensemble. I would love to see some other ideas for the words Patriot Brass Ensemble. Keep it simple, I like it but I think it can be better, I also think brass does not need to be gold now that we have the players. In fact I like keeping gold away from red white and blue :-)
Not sure, but I feel like having the horn player this way throws off the balance. I wonder if it is just a matter of perspective that the horn seems to be on the wrong side since it's just a silhouette.
Something else about #160 is that some of the musicians look bigger then the others, and I understand the distance thing, its more the front two people in the brass.
You have done such a great job with the brass players and how they are holding their instruments, thanks so much!
Here are some things that I think can really help with this.
I think the only instrument that fits our brand as a solo instrument is a bugle, so lets stick with that. It represents military, veterans and music all in one.
