Industry Non-Profit Color Preferences Green- a darkish green that would be representative of the Juniper plant. Brown Black Grey Our Ideas & Additional Information the organization's basic website for now is www.thejuniperfund.org The name comes from the fact that juniper is burned ceremoniously to cleanse or purify, and for protection. Juniper is burned at base camp during climbing expeditions in order to cleanse the environment, appease the mountains, and offer safe passage for climbers. We see the logo as being one that incorporates an interesting graphic representing the smoke of juniper burning (tendrils of smoke perhaps) with a mountain outline behind. This can be a fairly modern interpretation of this idea, and can be somewhat abstract or graphic while being obvious as to what it being depicted. In these images they show juniper burning and mountains behind to give a general idea. The logo would not have other items in it like the "altar" or stone square chorten or other items like the photos. Logo shouldn't recreate a photo scene like this but this illustrates where our name and inspiration comes from and idea for design elements. Logo better simple than complex.
