Hi - I have created a logo that shows a lab on a leash. I have used only black in on this, but will also submit one with color. One or two color logos will save you on printing cost, but logo can easily be adapted to your color choice. Please let me know your like and dislikes. Thank you!

Dear Designers:
I have to tell you all that I love elements of everyone's design. Additionally, I think this service is awesome and will use it and recommend it.
I have chosen design #2 as my favorite at this point only because I like the graphic nature of the design. There is a website www.tyler2construction.com that features a dog in their logo. I like the graphics in their logo. Something along this line is more of what I am thinking. As for Entry #2, I would like to see a different font, possibly white with a black outline. The dog is maybe just a little too graphic but still on the right track. In other words I am looking for a symbol rather than a specific dog that really looks exactly like a dog. Or possibly a silhouette. Also, all dogs should have soft ears and NOT pointed ears. The red color I mentioned will probably be the background color so would like to see the design and lettering in white, black and beige.
Again, to all of you, thank you for your wonderful entries. I will look forward to additional revisions. Does anyone need more time. I put the timing down to 5 days but maybe could extend the time period. It 's just that I am very anxious to get this logo finished as we have so many project in the works and I need my business cards and start working on signage.

oh my gosh. I absolutely LOVE #69. It's awesome. I am really getting confused as there are so many good entries.. I am going to have my associates here all day tomorrow and we will go through the entries. I think #69 is excellent and possibly my new favorite.
Thanks,
Debbie

Thanks Debbie - I just submitted one more with and without the red background. I think it is a little more abstract, which I think is what you are looking for. Check it out and let me know what you think. I can swap fonts, colors etc...

Thanks again!!!

Dear Sharon:
I am just about to the decision point. I'd like you to combine elements of #69 and elements of #84. I love the new font on #84 but I like the dog on #69. I also like the lime green used with the beige as shown in my fourth ranked design #64. Could you please try the following. Use the dog in #69 and the fonts in #84. Fill in the word DOG in the beige color you used and then use the lime green the same color as #64 as a background splash. It looks good behind the dog in #69 and it also looks good behind the wording in #84. Don't know how it would look if you used it behind both but please try. Also so that we don't have to pay for too many separate colors, go ahead and make the dog color in black. I would like to see this on a red background and of course on a white background. We are very close and my friend who is a designer and I both agree that you have the look that we wanted.
Thanks again for all your effort and I look forward to the revisions.

Sorry, meant to say do the dog COLLAR in black and I wrote color. Hope that doesn't confuse you. I just think that with all the other colors going on the black collar will be fine.

I did not like the red background with your slogan in black, so here it is in white.

Sharon:
Just a couple of tweaks. Look at the chocolate color on my number three pick, it's a little dark but I like the more chocolate beige than golden beige. Also, could we make the lime green a little more limey.
It's close, very close. In the meantime, I have had several very good entries. But I am still going with you.
Thanks,
Debbie

Dear Sharon:
Pretty sure that this is the one. I am going to run it by my husband and designer but I am thrilled with your work. The only decision at this point is if i want to include the tag line "everything about your dog" and if I want you to possibly change the font to something a little smaller and more straightforward. Just an idea.
Do you work with people other than through Logotournament? Maybe I am not supposed to ask this but was wondering. I also will need help designing the business card and stationary as well as the signs.
Thanks,
Debbie

Great! Let me know what you need and yes, I own my own graphic design company. I believe that private work is acceptable as long as it does not involve the actual logo contest. If you click on "View blonderenditions' profile" it will (obviously :) take you to my profile page where my website is listed just under my logo. My contact information is listed on every page. Just let me know when you are ready to start and again, thank you so much. The competition is so tough on this site and I am truly honored you like my design.

Hope to here from you soon!

Sharon: I have to tell you that the designers are really amazing. Everytime I feel that I have it, someone comes in with a design or elements of a design that I like. I still feel that I will definitely go with you as I feel that you have the exact right dog. I wanted the dog to not be breed specific and to look friendly and yet not like a cartoon. You captured that the best. I do have a couple of elements that I would like for you to try before the end of the contest. Let me get my notes together and I will get back to you.
Thanks,
Debbie

Dear Sharon:
FYI: They have a link to send a private message but it doesn't actually have your email address. If it works out I would love to have your email address to possibly help me with logo design, etc. I am in Charlotte, NC. My husband and I also have a home in Maryland. But Charlotte is really home for me.
Anyway, here's my suggestion at the risk of upsetting one of the other designers.
Look at #82, my 3rd pick, then look at Page Two, #117 by the same designer. I don't care for his dog but I do like the way the word DOG is so prominent. What if you put your/our dog behind a similar font. I would prefer the font in black and the fill in on the word DOG in chocolate outlined in black. Then do away with the bubble and put our splash of lime green behind. Just an idea.
Thanks,
Debbie

I have tried three different serif fonts. Let me know if you like any of these. The first is an elongated font.

I am having a really difficult time with this. I like you so much and you have worked so hard. I am going to have my husband and my friends look tonight. I love both of these designs. I am going to feel like a real ass if I don't pick you because you worked really hard. I just can't believe the talent on this website.
Thanks for all you have done.

One last thing, if you don't mind trying. Please try using the bigger dog with the bigger font. Combining 138 & 145.
Thanks,

Debbie - This is a contest and although I would love to work with you on building your brand identity you need to do what is right for your business. All I can say is my design has such cute, pleading eyes :) LOL!

Dear Sharon:
Wow this has been difficult. You are my second choice for my logo and I really feel badly. However, I would very much appreciate if you could hold your design in reserve. I have a dog that is similar to the dog in your design. I would like to send you a photo of the specific dog. He is going to be the "daddy dog" for all of our service dogs and I am developing his own website. I would very much like to use your design for his logo.
I'll send you a private message so that we might work together on other projects such as stationary, business cards, etc. The design I chose is from someone in France so it will be easier to work with you as you are in the US.
Thanks again for everything.

We take people to Europe to buy antiques. The email address that I use most at the time is debbie@throughthelookingglass.com. Been doing this for 25 years and just needed a change. Hence my passion for dogs. Hopefully if the zoning goes through we will have the center up and running by November.
Thanks again and definitely keep in touch. I will too and have put you in my contact database.
