Color Preferences
Go wild! But something that could be converted to a 1 or 2-color logo for printing purposes would be ideal. (The owner of the company, who took over after her father passed away, hopes for the new logo to be cool enough to want to wear on a T-Shirt :)
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Our company was voted the best real estate firm 2 of the last 3 years in East Seminole County, which is known for its natural resources. It is a "bedroom community" - with few businesses and mainly homes. We are located in a city that is "famous" for having free-roaming roosters and excellent public schools.

http://oviedotraditions.org - organization that our company works with a lot (that focuses on the history of the area)

http://www.seminolechronicle.com - link to the local newspaper to give you an idea what a small hometowney feel people expect (despite a rather large population that is expected to double in the next 20 years) - people don't like development, yet when new homes are built on top of nature, more people are happy to move into them. Our company focuses on reselling existing homes because we value nature.

After putting these out on Facebook, the general feedback is that no one would want any of these logos in front of their house on a sign /: What would YOU like to look at if you had a sign with a logo put in front of your house for a few months?

If you're wondering why we're so into the dark blue background, it's because we have a whole lot of nice dark blue presentation folders. We love these folders and would love to make our signs have a similar classy/dark look….and though on the internet, we would likely use the logo with a white background, it's really hard to imagine what it would look like inverted without your help. Thanks so much for swapping things up!! Our 3-person office appreciates you and your talents!!
