StockPupLogo Design Contest

Regarding what the site does: the site will provide free data and analytical charts for investors who want to understand how good different companies are at earning money for shareholders. There will be quite a bit of historical financial data, info about key events in each company's history, and easy to understand graphs known as "fundamental analysis".

With one day left in the contest, just to recap where we are:

1. Thanks folks for all the submissions - I appreciate your work!

2. I like the solid designs of the dog - in line with our original design uploaded as a reference. There were some interesting explorations of embedding / overlaying a stock chart on the dog symbol, notably submissions #3 and #11. While interesting, I feel that they make the dog look a little weird - alien. Unless you guys can come up with some cool novel executions for it, the approach so far is not a winner.

3. The dog bringing news / newspaper / stock chart seems most promising, and reflects well the site motto: "fetching data for intelligent investors". I am looking forward to refined executions of this concept. Some pitfalls to avoid there are making the paper look either like a bone or a computer keyboard.

4. In the site name, stockPup, I like to have the visual focus on "stock", rather than "pup". After all, this site is about investing - not about dogs.

Why did you add 5 more days? Where are we now...I see lots of BLUE, has the open colors changed to blue. I ask so that when I go back to the "Drawing Board" I have a clue or at least hope I do lol. Thanks man...
