Hey, I love these! I just wish I were doing an online toy store, instead of a stock analysis site. They are so damn cute! Aside from cuteness, the style is awesome though. Even though it hurts to say it, do you think you could do a less cute & more serious version that won't scare away middle aged people looking for financial data?
Hi, Here I send a new version. Well I still got to work a bit on the shadows, but I thought it's better to send it first, to see if it's matching the desired concept. Regards, Ron
Can we develop the newspaper piece to communicate something related to finance? Could show a stock chart or newspaper stock tables or something like that. I know what it signifies, but for an uninformed visitor it probably would be saying much as it is.
Thanks! I think you nailed the paper with the chart! Great job there!
Staring at the logo from the distance, I am a bit concerned about how it will look in smaller sizes - the pup has a lot of fine details. For the web site I can use the full size, but if I try to embed a smaller (1/2 or 1/3 size) version of the logo into a corner of a graph (to use it like a signature), it hardly scales to that size... Anyway, not sure if there is a simple fix, just thinking out loud.
Also still wondering about the cuteness... Although "friendly" and "don't take yourself too seriously" are good characteristics that I would like to keep, too cute gives me a pause when it comes to professional customers. Don't want people to hesitate in any way about embedding graphs branded with my logo into their blogs etc. I guess there are ways around it, like using the text part only, but its not ideal...
Hi, Here I've made couple of changes. I took out the lines from the inside part of the body, and I went with diffrent tonalities into the colour. It's lighter as well, and so the outline its helping to keep its caracteristics better. I send two of them what are just the same, but the size. Regards, Ron
