Star Trails is a photography term. It is shooting the night sky with a very long exposure and the stars actually appear as arcs instead of dots. Here is a link to one of my star trail shots...

You can also google star trail images to see others. I do not like the extremely long exposures where it creates a circle... I prefer the ones like in my image. So with all that said... I would like for star trails to be included in the logo in shades of blue and purple. I would like for the words Star Trails to be more significant than the word Downtown.

#3 Great work on the star trails. I am not really looking to have buildings in the logo. I want the main focus on the fonts of the name and the star trails.

#2... I like the star trails in this and and the colors used in them. I like the color gradient in the sky and the downtown buildings, but I think that may be too detailed for some of the uses for the logo. I like the font on downtown, but maybe go with Trajan Pro if you have it. I don't really like the font on Star Trails, I think it may be a little to "Sci-fi". Awesome job on the star trails. Maybe do something where the name is bigger... more prominent.

#5 I like the simplicity. I would prefer to not have the gradient in the fonts. Maybe one color on the "Star Trails" and another for "Downtown" and maybe different fonts to separate them even more. The star trails almost appear to be going from one trail to 3 and getting wider as it goes. Maybe a little more uniformity and and a few more trails with the colors variants of blues and purples.
