Our Ideas & Additional Information
We'd like to incorporate the words "responsibility, ownership, opportunity, teamwork, solutions" (ROOTS) in a graphic. We are excited to explore the creative talent of the designers and are also interested in seeing some form of a tree with the roots or some part of the tree being spelled out with the words "responsibility, ownership, opportunity, teamwork, and solutions." Images are attached with some ideas. We can also include the following "Leadership to serve and develop. As a member of the Stanford Department of Public Safety, you are expected to be a leader - within the department and outside the department. What you say and do is a reflection of all of us. Your words and actions make a difference - make that difference positive.

Discussion

Thanks everyone for the submissions! Can we see some ideas without "Stanford University Department of Public Safety" in the logo. Just the ROOTS words "Responsibility, Ownership, Opportunity, Teamwork, Solutions" as the focus of the design.

I just updated the attached example images. If it's possible, we can also incorporate this into the graphic "As a member of the Stanford Department of Public Safety, you are expected to be a leader - within the department and outside the department. What you say and do is a reflection of all of us. Your words and actions make a difference - make that difference positive."
On the attached image of the black and white tree with the red heart, this idea is appealing in that we could incorporate the Stanford S into the image in place of the heart.

Other interesting looks:

The Tree is strongly associated with Stanford (hence the roots and tree theme). Not sure if something like this could be incorporated into a logo?

Would it be possible to see a logo similar to the attached StanfordS.jpg with just the words ROOTS in the Stanford font. No trees.
1. Repeat the words "responsibility, ownership, opportunity, teamwork, solutions"inside ROOTS.
See attached StanfordS.jpg.
2. a second version with "responsibility, ownership, opportunity, teamwork, solutions" and "As a member of the Stanford Department of Public Safety, you are expected to be a leader - within the department and outside the department. What you say and do is a reflection of all of us. Your words and actions make a difference - make that difference positive."

LogoTournament Staff
Hello All,

The client has some designs that have very small text at small sizes. For this contest, if the client asks you to offer an enlarged image, please feel free to do so using a private portal in your designer submission area by *LINK*. We suggest using a light watermark to protect your design.

Thanks,

Ivan
