Our Ideas & Additional Information
http://www.SomethingNewEntertainment.com
We are a far cry from the "typical" DJ service. We do not do club work or parties, only weddings. Please do not include stereotypical imagery such as CDs, records, microphones, musical notes unless you can figure out a way to really "sell it" as stylish and classy.
We like the letterpress style, too.
What we like about our current logo:
1.) Script/neat, formal handwriting font used for "Something New," however, the font is not quite "right." We really like Feel Script, as well as Good Vibrations. Interested in seeing designs that use one of those or other fonts with the same aesthetic -- formal, neat handwriting that's a little quirky. Please do not use Scriptina.
2.) Like the sans-serif used for "entertainment," but it seems a little futuristic. Would like to see something more classic/vintage.
Don't Like:
1.) Logo is not symmetrical/center is off/unbalanced, slightly. Not visually balanced. "Heavier" on left-hand side.
2.) Calligraphic quality of ornamentation. Prefer a letterpress look.
3.) Imbalance between weight of two fonts and ornamentation. Would like to see this more equalized.
