Color Preferences
Like: blue, purple, green
Possible accents: red, white, orange, silver

It's okay to ignore these preferences because I may not know what colors are best
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I am partial to dolphins. I don't know if it will be possible to incorporate the idea of dolphins into my logo - I'm just tossing that idea out there

As the contest progresses, I will update the brief with additional ideas and/or criteria to incorporate. The reason I selected many options under the style section is because I'm open to ideas.

I'm very excited to see what you will create for me! Thank you for every idea you submit!

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

I will rank entries when there are at least 5 entries. Thanks in advance for your submissions!

I ranked the designs because there were 5 entries. Although I ranked the #5 design as first, I hope it is not my first choice when the contest ends. Maybe I was expecting too much from this process... I'm just not thrilled with any of the choices yet. I like the movement of the dolphin in entry #5. I like the dolphin coming through the O in entry #2. I thought I'd like the two C images being shaped in an S with entry #4, but it doesn't look right in its current version.

I would still like to see some logos using wordmark style.

What more can I do as a client to assist you in the design process?

Every designer has done a pictorial logo design with a dolphin. I'd really like to see something besides dolphins. I'd really like to see other styles - like wordmark, abstract or letterform

We facilitate results within an organization. We guide discussions or a decision-making process through asking insightful questions, highlighting issues and/or consequences of various alternatives, and then getting to a decision. Our goal is to help create consensus on a direction or decision. Share your ideas... I'm open to seeing them!

I directed several designers in the private comments section to put the image that they created as the O in SOAR. These images were all different, and I do not believe they infringe on any one designer's work. I also stated repeatedly that I wanted to see designs in wordmark and letterform styles.

I am stating now that ANY LETTER of the words SOAR Consulting can be used in a stylistic manner. NO designer owns one particular letter just because their logo might be the first to do something with it.

This information is available at the bottom of this page:

Contest Holder Guidelines for posting

We require that you do not ask one designer to use elements or concepts from another Designer. The general rule is that, if a Designer was the first to submit the idea, they essentially own that concept or idea for the remainder of the contest. Requests or ideas you have put in your contest Brief are fair game and open to everyone. Concepts that are considered obvious will also be fair game, for example: a dog & cat for a pet hospital, shopping bag for an e-commerce company, a tooth for a dentist, initials for a lawyer, etc.

Respectfully, I direct your attention to this comment:
"I directed several designers in the private comments section to put the image that they created as the O in SOAR".

Respectfully - please pay attention to what I said - I asked several designers to use the images that THEY created as the O in SOAR. I asked them to use THEIR images - not someone else's images. If you would like me to be even more definitive, I asked Designer A who had Design A next to the words SOAR Consulting to use Design A as the O instead of keeping it next to the words SOAR Consulting. I did NOT ask Designer A to use Design B, C, D, E, etc as the O.

It's unfortunate that I do not know what Brendan said since others think he said something well.

For everyone: THANK YOU for your entries! We will be discussing the designs and I will still post feedback as needed on the designs. I will re-rank multiple times as well during this next phase.
