Looks great Raspy - thanks for the submission. Is bold, nicely rendered and easily legible. The wonky 'k' provides enough of a unique feel that an abstract mark isn't necessary with this design. To be honest, I can't offer any improvement feedback on this design - we really like it as-is!
Would love to see any other ideas you may have - particularly if you have any with abstract marks.
#159 looks great and is our preferred abstract mark thus far. Nice and simple, which definitely hits the target for us. Could you please tweak the 'p' so it's flat across the top (ie. doesn't have the little extension at the top).
Would love to see any other ideas you may have. Love the concept quality so far!
Raspy, do you think you could edit the colour of the abstract mark so that it incorporated RED, YELLOW, BLUE and GREEN? We're wanting to see a little splash of colour to see how that works with your concept. If the purple clashes, perhaps change the text to black.
You're on fire! Definitely our most preferred logo thus far.
If you've got any other concepts, feel free to send them through, as we're loving your work. If you'd rather sit on this design, that's fine, as it's a definite leader at present. :)
Some inspiration for an alternative abstract mark is "floating paper" - extremely difficult to explain that, so I hope you can visualise the same thing we have in mind. If it's too vague, don't worry about trying to put something else together.
I've got a design background myself (hence me being wise enough to source the logo design!) so I know the pain of a vague brief. I just can't articulate what we've after.
#193 is a great interpretation. Do you think it could look good more vertical, rather than leaning? I'm not opposed to dropping an element (the green) and running with 3 colours.
We like the re-work, but would love to see the #193 concept as if the paper has been dropped from above, rather than blowing off a stack. Kind of like a vertical pillar with the 4 coloured sheets drifting down. :)
Ok, your contest is just way too much fun for me. I really enjoy working on these different ideas. So, here is my concept of the falling paper you were talking about. i used all 4 of the colors because I think they balance each other out. None of the colors really dominate another one. The yellow paper has a curl on one corner which adds just a slight amount of orange in there. Let me know what you think of this idea. I really think it works well!
