Dearest Top Five Designers!
We are looking forward to working with you in the final phase.
Just to keep everyone informed about the same things, we'd like to give you some more details as to what the logo will be used for and where it needs to be printed on.
In the coming 3 days you will receive e-mails from either Mr B and or Mrs B - our long weekend came to an end , so Mr B went to work and Mrs works from home - we cannot log in into logo tournament at the same time, the system does not allow this.
SimplyB:
Olive Grove on Waiheke Island, New Zealand - a 35 minute ferry ride form Auckland.
We stand for: produce locally in New Zealand, natural, balanced, personal and mental wellbeing, healthy and wholesome, simple is better, high quality, enjoy life because you deserve it, do good for yourself.
On site Mr B produces olive oil and olive oil products, e.g., pestos, as well as the natural skin care range made out of beeswax, olive oil and honey.
Yurts for accommodation - upmarket, for the traveller or Aucklander that wants a weekend or week away with a twist. Enjoying an absolutely breathtaking view from our property, good food prepared by Mr B. Yoga lessons, Hormonyoga workshops and Mindfulness Classes by Mrs B. Eventually Innovation and Team Building Events for Auckland companies.
The Logo you create will be used for-
-the website. On the website people have the option to click on all four parts of the company: Olive Oil and Co, Skin Care, Yoga and Yurts.
-labels on the skin care products (lip balm, hand cream, shower oil, etc.)
-labels on the olive oil and Co food products (pestos, spicy sauces, hummus, etc)
-posters for the Yoga (in schools, libraries, doctors, etc)
-posters for the Yurts (on the ferry, tourist information offices, etc)
-Accomodation brochure for Waiheke Island
-Waiheke directory of services
- A brochure of SimplyB that will be distributed per post and handouts in public places.
-used in international newspapers when they publish amazing reviews about our place !!
-and much more
So you see the difficulty is to create a very ICONIC Logo that can work for the WHOLE company , but must work also for SINGLE parts of the company.
The logo once it is finished might not be printed on white but on a more natural appearing paper. Not sure how you call it, but maybe you have an idea- I am thinking of something like the old brownish paper bags you used to get your pies in or wrapped your sandwich- something with natural appeal.
We will check regularly your entries - I know you are working all over the world and we are in different time zones. Please also ask us and tell us if we are not clear with our briefings - we will do our very best to be precise.
With best regards
Mrs B
