Hi Muskitt, thank you for your designs! I like the colors in entry #11 better than #13 & #14; however, I feel the abstract part of the design is a little too sparse with not enough definition to translate well to a small label on a jar or sticker later. I like the additional branches on the flame of #13 as well. The crosses in the designs of #16, #17, & #18 are a little too reminiscent of Christian design patterns...not that I'm opposed to it, but I like the idea of something that is not immediately recognizable and leaves the imagination to work it out. In our original logo, we had many people visualize the flame as a dancing girl, a flame, a vagina (I know), and a shrimp. It was originally taken and altered from part of a Jackson Pollock painting. Anyway, I hope that helps a bit. Oh yea, it is difficult for us to see the work sauces in the logo as the weight of the font is too small and I believe that we will need to differentiate our name enough from our old business so that we are recognizable as "Siam Society Sauces"
I accidently typed "work" instead of "word". I not opposed to a masculine design either. I don't want to confuse you or send you down the wrong path; however, I'm guessing that women shop more in grocery stores than men. Although, these days, men do a lot of cooking and like bold flavors. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of market research to direct you in either path, being masculine or feminine.
Cool! I like the new designs much better #20 & #21. They remind me of chili peppers and #20 has the added affect of being interpreted as a lotus flower. Could we add a little more red in the "flower/chili" portion of the design with a little less white?
