ROLOLogo Design Contest

To all designers:

Thank you for your great submissions. Of the ones submitted, you can see my favorites by ranking. But don't be afraid to submit something new and different. Main objectives:

Clean and simple (but not angular)
Bold letters and colors (green and black are favorite right now; adding a 3rd color is possible)
ROLO stands for Robert and Lori, co-owners, so having the R and L stand out is good.

To all designers,

I'm still pleased with the majority of submissions. I'm sorry that I can't talk graphic terms to you to give you a better idea of what I want, but the logo will mostly be used on clothing, letterhead and other products (not too much for website). I want to make sure that the colors are bold enough to print well on fabric, etc.

I'm giving my computer a rest for the remainder of the day. I'll check back tonight.

Hi all,

Clean and simple seems to be favorite. My partner still prefers the simple icon in #4, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have a unique but simple logo to submit?

Just in case you're wondering....I get to rank entries initially. Then I have to run it by my partner. So that's where the reranking comes in.

I still prefer black and green. Blue and green is okay as long as the blue is dark.

Almost done with contest. I'm so appreciative of all the great submissions from great designers.

This has been a good experience for our company. We will probably make a final decision in a couple of hours.

solid color for letters in ROLO are best. Faded or gradaded are not as clean.

I love this website and will recommend it to all of my friends, acquaintances and business associates.

Amazing that for $250 I got 356 entries! Where else can you get that kind of service?!
