After reviewing the few designs submitted, I realized that much more detailed description is needed. I've uploaded three items I pulled from the internet randomly which gives an idea of what we really want. I want something colorful and traditional..... something that reminds one how important "home" is.

Hello Logo Tournament Site Administrator,

We are very close to choosing our final contest winner. Because of the wonderful overall experience we've had dealing with our chosen graphic artist, we have decided to increase the contest award from our original $275 to $350. We understand the decision to increase is possible while the contest was active but are hoping it is still possible to do so during this final judging phase. Please let us know if this larger award can be given to the artist as he has exceeded our expectations. Please advise soon.

Hello again Logo Tournament Site Administrator,

We have chosen Entry #80, the brainchild of the artist known as ARM from France. We are supremely delighted with the last-minute idea he came up with. He has added our company name to the driver's side door of our company truck. That was sheer genius! It is quite evident to us he had our best interests at heart. He has provided us a uniquely recognizable logo which, I believe, will remain in the minds of all clients and prospects who see it. I am amazed that, with no spoken words passed between us, he was able to take direction and numerous requests via e-mail which culminated into this fine piece of artwork. He has captured the small-town, family-owned, traditional feel we were hoping for. We cannot be more happy with this custom made project; it gives our company a new identity. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a high caliber and creative product. With this said, and after even further consideration.... we have decided to raise his contest winnings again to $375. He is worth every dollar!

I received an e-mail saying that the written request for an awards increase I sent yesterday did not register. So a few minutes ago I did manually request an increase on the Contest page. We have decided to increase it to $375. Please let me know that this change has been made as ARM earned his full award. Thank you!

Well we've had wonderful comments and compliments on the logo. Everyone feels it is quite different than any other construction-related logo they've ever seen before. Our deepest thanks to you again. I'm writing today to request a set of files for the logo in grayscale. Our printer says we need it for our company envelopes. We do remember you mentioning that option was available upon request.
