Our Ideas & Additional Information
We would like to use the initials RC in something like a monogram combined with a traditional bit of scroll design to make it reminiscent of a family crest (something like the scrolling William Morris Acanthus Leaf design--just a bit of it, not the whole thing--in the file attached). It is not essential that the name of the company--Robert Clyde Sailing Ltd--be included in the logo, but it would be interesting to see how it might be incorporated. The logo might also include the image of a wolf head (our family emblem), but it is not essential to have this image included. The attached wolf images show the shape of the outline we like. We do not want a native design because we are not native and don't feel we have a right to co-opt such an image; I include the native design simply to show that a few stylized lines would be preferable to an actual image. The "Demi Wolf" is our family's traditional design, but it is a little too rat-like for our tastes. We may use the style of the initial lettering from the logo for our principle boat's name and place of registry. I include an image of the name of the boat under the last owner; the registry continues to be Victoria. In future, it will say: Robert Clyde, Victoria.
