On #2 not looking for so many colors. We like the idea Tri/Quad color max.

Keep in mind a Rhino doesn’t' have to be the only thing represented in the Logo we would also like to see your vision of the other things that relate to our business as well.

#5 - Not feeling the 'abstract' RS letter icon

PLEASE READ: WE ARE UPDATING THIS LIST OFTEN.

We understand that as we are rating the logos, designers will idenfity the trends used in the design and use those elements in their submission which we definatly want to see, however we would also love to seeing designs from OUTSIDE of the box.

Things to keep in mind when building out our logo.

**Important
- We are looking for LOGO a that JUMPS OFF the page
We will be using this logo for media, print, apperal but we want to make sure that the version we use for media
and print 'JUMP OFF' the page so the usage of both 3D or glossy elements is a good thing.

- We would like to see the utilization of a 'tag line' or subtitle in the logos
We didn't add one to the contest description because we don't have one
We would love to see your ideas of what you think our tagline should be

-We develop custom desktop pc software, web based application [websites/commerce modules], and third party data integration/mining tools.

- We focus on c#/asp.net programming
- We facilitate our development process using the Agile SCRUM/XP methodology - so we keep the customers very closely involved in the development process.

Things we have gathered thus far:

1 - The company name is RINO vs Rhino [This can be confusing.. :) ]

2 - We are a Christian faith based company so we want to make sure the logos do not look too devilish. This can happen with a logo that has a dominant 'horn' however we do like logos that utilize the horn as well. (Sorry if that sounds contradictory)

3 - We pefer if our logo is going to utilize an abstract rino horn we like a 'two horn' rino vs a 'one horn' rino

4 - When providing an logo entry please provide 2 versions one with 'RinoSoftware' all on one line
and a 2nd version with the "Rino" part of the company name on a seperate line and the "software" below.

5 - We want to ensure that all logo submissions consider the following
- we like to brand ourselves when 'handwriting or typing' as RinoSoftware vs rinosoftware or
RINOSOFTWARE when the words are put together we want to ensure the two words are distitivley seperate
either by case, size, or color

6 - We would like to see logos that have a 3D feel/ web 2.0 elemement to them

1st thing that we wanted to say was 'WOW!!’ -all the submission thus far have been amazing - we really appreciate everyone’s attention to detail and taking the time to read through our comments.

I have extended the contest for another 7 days and wanted to use this time to ask that all new submissions be completely outside of the box - moving away from the utilization of a 'Rhino' in the design strategy. We will still consider designs with 'Rhino' features in them however we want to see your design ideas for logos of a company representing the following:

- Custom Software
- C# programming
- HTML/CSS design/overhaul
- Website hosting
- Project Management/Consulting
- Agile SCRUM/XP project management methodologies
- San Antonio, TX based

Again please don't take this extension of the contest as a reflection that we are dissatisfied with any of the submitted design work thus far. Again we are looking for new design ideas that represent the above criteria.

I think part of the challenge for us is that you give us so much reference but don't really let us know what you actually like and why (excluding the ranking you've already done). There are great designs in your references but many of them have a unique reason why they are successful. Back hungry - feedback. :)
