Redemption RanchLogo Design Contest

Since we are a faith-based charity, if you can incorporate a cross into the logo in a very subtle way, that would be great. In entry #4 for example, you can "see" a cross where the two "R"s are back to back - maybe a thin line in the shape of a cross or an outline could be included to make it stand out just a little, but still be subtle enough. We want people to have to look several seconds or for a second time before they would notice the cross symbol.

Does anyone have any ideas that incorporate a child/youth and horse - rather than just horses? Our focus and mission of the ranch is two-fold: rescuing horses and using them to reach troubled, disadvantaged, at-risk kids/youth. We'd love to see what it would look like to include both aspects into the logo. Thanks.

Hopefully all the design changes on the existing entries will be completed by the end of the day tomorrow. We'd like to send out these designs for "Friends Feedback" after that, so we will be extending the contest deadline for a few days, until we receive the feedback and make a final decision based on the feedback. It's so hard to choose between the top three or so designs and we want to see how others view and receive the different logos. Thanks to all the designers for their super work.
