Our Ideas & Additional Information
Fonts: I'm fond of Futura (regular and bold which are in the logo of my company http://www.doitmarketing.com)

Also fond of Akzidenz Grotesk, Helvetica and Helvetica Neue [in both heavy and light faces - as used, for example, in the ZagatWine logo here: http://www.zagatwine.com/ ]

Links to look at for inspiration:
http://www.TED.com (elegant, clean, strong red/black/white)
http://newyorkpost.com/ (heavy chunky fonts red/black/white)
http://www.bcorporation.net/ (Helvetica and clean logo)
http://www.smallbizdaily.com/ (square, stacked three words, red/black/white)

I'll be very actively involved in the feedback process, so please get started with your initial ideas and we'll work together.

Final tip: Don't "overwork" the concept. Overall, this needs to be SIMPLE, clean, strong, and credible.

Thank YOU in advance for your wonderful work!!!

Friends,

A great start - with a couple of notes for future reference:

1. I prefer the arrow symbol/element to be SEPARATE from the words Red Arrow

2. The arrow is definitely one-directional - NOT circular arrows. This is about connecting quickly and directly to the resources you need - we're offering a set of processes and tools that taken together constitute a simple shortcut to results.

3. No upward swinging arrows/stock charts/graphs. The arrow needs to be purely a symbol and not have any financial meaning.

4. Consider a 3-dimensional aspect to the design with the arrow moving to the RIGHT and ahead into the future

5. Another possible direction is to consider a logo that looks like it was drawn on a WHITEBOARD with a RED MARKER.

Arrow ideas/shapes I like - please don't copy these. Rather - be INSPIRED by them:

And please read the brief - I know many of you have done so carefully yet it seems others are ignoring some very basic and important aspects of the project mentioned in the brief. Thank you in advance for your wonderful and creative work on this!

Fabulous designers,

WOW! You are amazing. Thank you for your dedication and talent shown in this contest.

STRETCH TIME - Let me ask you to push me a little beyond the brief. If you want to get creative, break some of the rules, or suggest something I'm not seeing, this would be a great time in this contest to see what you might contribute.

In deep appreciation of your talent - thank you x 1 million!
