Color Preferences
The colors we are most interested in to represent Palm Springs and our property are: orange, navy or soft blue, yellow, white, sage green and hot pink (see photos of our property).
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Here is a link to our property: http://www.vrbo.com/450421
The most significant thing about our property is that it has a "long butterfly" roofline. Here are some photos of the type of "iconic" roofline that our property has. All of the properties on this link are in our neighborhood. The first black and white photo is a famous photo of the exact model of the house we own (and rent), for which we seek a logo. We would love a logo that incorporates the unique roofline in a not-too-obvious way, but we are also open to simple fun graphics (like the Paul Kaplan logo below):

Here are some logos that we like:
Fun and very "Palm Springs" -- Paul Kaplan: http://www.paulkaplanrealtor.com/
Like the architectural outlines of the various rooflines depicted in the graphics on top of the page (our roofline is the second to last), but logo must be simple and hip: http://www.racquetclubestates.com/
Also like the architectural aspect of the "Palm Springs Modernism Committee" logo (link not working right now), but too serious for our vacation rental
Recommend typing "Palm Springs mid-century modern" in google images to get an idea of the unique style/vibe/colors of our market.
We plan to use the logo on business cards, website and possibly welcome doormate, foam rafts and retron "beach cruiser" style orange or yellow bikes, so logo should convey style, fun, retro Palm Springs, but still be simple enough to use on doormat, raft, bike.
