Re Entry #6: See comments re Entry #10. We like the sophistication and simplicity of this logo and it captures the Palm Springs architecture scene well. However, it does not depict our signature butterfly roofline and may be a bit serious.
Also really like the look of the words on #6. Like the small "PS" with the stacked "Mod House" on the left of the house depictions. It's a nice simple clean look that conveys a "mod" style. If the house on the right had a elongated butterfly roofline, this logo would be very close to what we have in mind.
Like # 12, but it has the wrong roofline style. The concept is what we had in mind, but it looks a little more craftsman-like than mid-century modern butterfly roof. Also don't necessarily love the "swish" below the house.
Although #27 doesn't incorporate the roofline in a literal way, we really like the graphic and the typeface because it represents the roofline and feels very retro. It comes the closest so far to incorporating the modern, sophisticated, yet retro and fun vibe that we are going for. We would be interested in seeing this logo in color. Perhaps the orange and blue of #10. Also not sure about the "swoosh" through the graphic.
Thank you for your guidance. Few new ideas have been uploaded, and one of them i swhere the roof is like a checked mark. Just a shoot. What do you think?
The "check mark" style rooflines are not technically representative of our roofline. It is a subtle distinction, but a traditional butterfly roof has the "checkmark" style that extends beyond the walls of the house. In contrast, our "elongated butterfly" roof is more like the #45 and #46.
