What We Do
We use the power of social networking to reunite people with their lost pets.
Industry
Internet
Color Preferences
We don't have a specific color in mind, but the colors will need to work alongside the blues of the Facebook masthead. Probably should avoid black given it's association with mourning, which is about the last thing we want! We want to convey hope, security, action, and to be positive.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We would like to keep it clean and simple, and to clearly convey our value proposition (ie, that pet and owner will be happily reunited, and that the social community is supportive of their plight). It also needs to be somewhat species-agnostic - eg, not just dog or cat-focused, (although the bulk of our participants are concerned with dogs, cats, or birds, with the occasional reptile).

We need to distinguish ourselves from the following related services, so our logo should *not* resemble any of these:

Logo Designer
Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

Thanks everybody for participating in this. Off to a great start!! We are very excited to find a logo for our new product.

Herewith some very generalized feedback, as we would like to be sure to get a broad variety of concepts before we start honing in.

- We're seeing two colors that are kind of close together, and we'd like to see colors that are higher contract.
- Any logo should only have one thing going on at a time. We've had good concepts, but some of them have two or three ideas in one logo and we just want one very strong idea. Even if it means submitting two or three different logos to convey different ideas, that's ok.
- We are absolutely looking for variety. If anybody has designs that are different or unique, we'd love to see them. We really want to stand out from the crowd (in a good way).

Thanks so much for your efforts.

One additional bit of feedback that might help - our logo needs to work on a white background.

We've seen a lot of great designs but haven't seen one that we felt like was 'the one.' So definitely keep those designs coming in!

Hi again,

A couple of general comments:

- Typefaces - Clear and simple typefaces for the logo are critical. The logo will be mostly used on the web and will be scaled both smaller and larger. As such, any details need to be really clear and visible when shrunk.
- Colors - The colors we're seeing are a bit 'dark' (e.g. the blues we're seeing have too much cyan). We'd like to see the colors have a bit more vibrancy and hope. We're not looking for neon colors that overwhelm, but feel they could be a little brighter overall.

We really appreciate all your work on this!

Thanks,
Robert and Nancy

Hi everybody,

We are going through our last ranking for the contest. We are going to be a bit merciless by putting a lot of logos in the 'not-interested' column. This is just to scale the number of logos down so we can rank more effectively.

Thanks for your hard work on this. We have received some awesome designs!

Robert and Nancy.
