Pet ParadiseLogo Design Contest

I prefer to have the logo to be more clean-look with minimal animals or coconut trees. Since it is an online store, there will be plenty of areas on the site for pictures of dogs and cats. Would prefer sky blue because paradise can be both clear blue ocean or blue sky.

Would like to see more variety of logos such as pure text logos like twitter, skype and FedEx. Want a clean and professional look that communicates happiness, quality and friendliness.

Nice designs starting to come in. Would like to see more fresh ideas. #7 is on track but abit too feminine with pink and hearts. Looking for logos that communicate happiness (or fun) and quality. A logo that will draw attention from pet owners to shop with us.

Really like #14 and #15 because the word "Pet" stands out and the logo is simple yet happy-looking. However, can a logo communicate more action? I think people associate happiness and fun with action. Thanks for great work coming in.

#19 has nice lines and clean look with shopping cart to remind audience that we are a store, however the paw with stick on the cart is unclear of the meaning.

#16 and #17 somehow not as interesting as #14. Perhaps keep the text and color and use a different pictorial on the word "paradise"

#20 and #22, nice cartoon and drawing. Gives a very cute and friendly look but abit too much detail. The business name is Pet Paradise. The web address of mypetparadise.com will change to petparadise.com in the future.

#24 fun, colorful and the text looks nice. However, I prefer excluding or de-emphasizing the coconut tree and dog because the picture shows a dog stuck on an island rather communicating a that the business is a store selling food, healthcare, toys, clothing and accessories for pets.

Thank you very much for all the great designs! Kudos to all the great designers. So far, I really like logos that are simple a do not have too much detail such as the top 5 logos. Use of bright and "happy" colors will help to draw attention to shoppers. #40 is interesting with use of animal parts to combine with text. Maybe you would want to make the tails and ears more recognizable of what animal it represents but also keep it subtle. Check out the logo of www.wag.com that uses a dog tail in their logo.

I would like to also see the dark orange color (as seen on the banner "our promise" in the attached file) on the logo so that I can have a consistent color between logo and website.

Thank you again for the great designs. Going into the top 5 round, I'm looking for the following in the logo designs.

1) Use of color blue (sky color) and dark orange ("our promise" banner) as in the file PetParadise.jpg attached to the design brief.
2) Use of fonts and styling that communicates that our business is an online store that targets pet lovers that looks for happiness for their pets and quality product and have fun while shopping. NOTE: The text does need to be on the same line (i.e. Pet can be above Paradise)
3) An icon or graphics or lines that can represent my business/brand when used without the text just like the swoosh of Nike or the smile of Amazon. I plan to use this icon/graphic/lines on delivery boxes, delivery vans and merchandises.
