Our Ideas & Additional Information
1. Acronymn OGF is almost as well known as Operation Geek Farm. Offer logo in 3 versions, if using pictorial approach: picture alone, picture w/ acronym, picture w/ full organizational name. If no pictorial element, offer logo in acronymn and full-name versions.
2. Current logo (ogfcommunity.com) is deployed in upper left corner. Consists of type reversed from red-rust right-facing tractor. Black tagline curves downhill from front of tractor: “Imagine, and we make it real” no period at end of tagline. Logo is stodgy; thus this contest.
3. A tractor or farm link is fine. People generally like the tractor concept.
4. Require ability to reduce all or part to iPhone / social medium / button version and remain recognizable.
5. Don’t include a nerdy-looking person. Any human figure, unless extremely stylized, would not rate high.
6. Keep design simple.
7. Example of logo we do not like: http://brandstack.com/logo-design/details/23226

Logo Designer
Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

Overall, I like the above designs, though I am quite interested in seeing what other ideas might support our purpose, aside from the tractor. Maybe something more sleek? Would there be something with more colors that works well? What about lighter "weight"? Things that are too cartooney are not as interesting.

I like variations of Red a ton - just fyi...

#15. We said no glasses geek, but we like this concept. How can the farm aspect (now a tractor in the lenses) be more visible? The detail may not come across except in large spaces.

Client
#12 remains current favorite: thanks. Possible to see with some red, maybe even add a third color? Possible to make the "f" more readable. Very clever.

Client
#21. Super colors. They work. They pop out. Possible to make the tractor less "yesterday?"

Client
Love #33, but not the Geek Farm font. Please, you made us realize we don't want script font. Love the font in #24 and #39, just for reference, not as mandate. Possible to see some red? Possible to see "and we make it real" as lowercase or less obvious than "IMAGINE,"?

Client
#20 looks like an iPhone button. OK, ok, that's what we said. We were wrong, apparently. This design has that certain something. Do you have an idea to nudge it from button to liberated graphic?

Client
#11 plant rows not that clear to understand, but the design appeals. Thanks.

Client
A very simple point: no period after IMAGINE, and we make it real
That will be easy to delete from winning design. These are looking really good. #12 additional colors in fact made the "f" easier to see. Thanks. #42 ("f" axle), 43, and 46: clever.

Client
#51 and #52. Nice. Thanks for submitting. Can you see it with red or with more than two colors?

Client
#50, the color approach does bring out the 'f.'

Client
#11 is clever: crop rows in a box. Can you make that message more obvious?

Client
#57 soon will be dark red and black.

Client
#59 now makes field motif much more plain.

Client
Like the font style of the number #52, like the weight of #3.

I like the color scheme of #21, but sorta like the green in #52

#69 has a nice abstract feel

Prefer logos with no fading or grading because they are hard to use

#66. The gold makes it pop. A darker green, maybe? Forest green?

Client
#96 - 108 has some really good ideas. #105, 106, 107, and 108 bring all those ideas together.

Client
#91 and #92 stand out, although if there will be a tractor in the logo, we prefer one that looks modern.

Client
#44 is so clever. We think it probably is too playful for our purposes.

Client
#74 and #75 are attractive.

I like the red lines around the maroon in $53.

Color scheme in #124, among others, is very nice. So are the colors in #66 and #64 (very different color ideas). #21 and #105 are our next favorite mixes.
