Charting a Course for Portland & South Portland

The cities of Portland & South Portland Maine are working on developing a Climate Action & Adaptation Plan for their cities. We are branding the planning process as One Climate Future.

Each City has its own blue that we would like to see included. The hex codes are in the attached logos, but are #306989 and #555b81.

We would also be interested in seeing a small amount green in the logo. We are interested in including possibly a bridge or a compass. We would want to see the bridge as maybe a gray and the compass as gold.

We do not want to have too many colors and we want to be sure that the logo will look just as good in black and white as it does in color

we are interested in seeing logos that include either a bridge or a compass emphasizing the "Charting a Course" tagline. We definitely want to see something with a water element of some sort. Portland and South Portland Maine are on the coast and very much connected to the water. This logo is for a planning process to address climate change and the impacts we will be experiencing.

In lieu of N, S, E, W for the compass we would be interested in seeing the points be icons for
-Energy & High Performing Buildings
-Transportation & Land Use
- Waste Reduction
-Climate Preparedness & Resilience
