NetMixer.comLogo Design Contest

I like the colors of the logo in the one I ranked first, but do not like the upside down and sideways people. The concept here is nice, may be a tad "too computery" of a font - maybe not - have to see a bunch of different logo options. I do not like the ".com" on another line. The person for the "I" was a cool little touch - I like things like that.

No more blenders please ;)

The logo with the X that is swirling a bit would be better without the swirling X and a different art than the wavy globe. I would not mind seeing some other derivations of that try (as well as other new concepts we have not seen yet). I definitely like the grey and blue though. The green and purple is too much color for the site.

I just looked at the green and purple logo again. the colors are off, but the font type could be nice, especially the NET font.

This is going to get tough soon! Starting to see some nice ones. Would like to see some more new concept variations. For the ones above, I do not think I want the "mirroring" where the logo is repeated below. I like # 13, wonder what it would look like with caps text for the "net" and color scheme more like #7. I like the slogan on #14. Anyone got any other cool slogan ideas?! Keep up the good work everyone! Thanks.

I like elements of each of these. Overall, we need to be careful that “Net” doesn’t depict “Internet” rather it should depict “Networking”. With that said, the techy-type fonts being used for “Net” in #11, #13, #14, #15 and #16 are less of what I am looking for. I prefer the fonts used for “Net” in #6 and #12. I really like the tagline “networking made easy” and would like to keep this as part of the logo (but I am willing to entertain some other tagline options!). If we are going to use an abstract mark as part of the logo, I think the best one in the bunch is in #13, but I still feel we need to make it more relevant. I like the way the word “Mixer” is shown in #11, #14 and #15. The "I" in #12 looks too much like a singles/dating site. I obvious would love to see some other derivations of the logo that have not been shown yet since we still are early in this tournament! Thanks again everyone!

There are elements of the top 3 right now (#19, #21, #13) that I really like. #25 abstract design looks ok, but I do not like the text / italics. Maybe try the abstract design in #25 on the text (font type and colors) of #21 and add the tagline? I would try the same thing with the text of #21 in caps - with and without the first letter being slightly bigger. I would then try the same thing with the abstract design from #19. <br><br>I would like to see some new abstract design ideas for that font & color setup - I am not 100% on board with the dots that follow each each or the circle of dots, but those are the best so far. Try to keep in mind "business and networking" with an aspect of "social" with your ideas.<br><br>Would not mind hearing a few new tagline ideas as well.<br><br>There COULD POSSIBLY be something with #7, but the two little people look too sports player like. If they could be more professional in the text & color of a #21, that could get interesting.<br><br>Colors are definitely where I want to be. Getting there! I will post more feedback tomorrow or Sunday once we get a bunch more designs in here to see all next to each other.

One more quick thing! I do not like the .com or the abstract design above or below the main text. The only thing below the text should be the tagline, unless you show me something REALLY cool and creative!! Thanks again everyone.

Some great new additions this time around. Thanks to everyone! On #32, I would like to see a tagline below it centered. I think it looks nice like that. For #31, I would like to see the case of the two words made the same possibly and the first letter made a bit bigger than the rest. On #38, I would like to see the tagline in there, the ".com" in there (vert or horz) and some other options for the design in the magnifying glass (I like the mag glass idea). I still do like #20, I just an not digging that font and the colors are just a bit off. Still definitely would like to see some more abstract designs for that part of the logo and some other taglines. I think we have the gist of the text font and colors though with the top few logo options that are there now. The text colors of #21, #31 and #32 are nice. Looking forward to seeing the next examples!!! Thanks, Dennis.

I am really liking #40 now. Before it looked too much like a dating company in #12, now it does not. I would like to see that design in the font/colors of a #31 or #41. #32 is still nice, it may be too busy though - is there a way to tone it down a bit?? I really like how you use that font in the middle - it is fun, yet still professional. I may be having second thoughts on whether I REALLY need the ".com" in there or not. #38 showed me that it can look pretty nice. But, alone on a flyer or other promotional material, having the ".com" is more useful for making people remember the website and the business overall. #38, can you add in the tagline "build your network" and another with "networking made easy". Not sure if I like this, but maybe a tagline of "business & networking events". Kinda boring, but very descriptive of what the site is going to have on it. #31, can you change your font to something more like #41, but still a little rounded? I like your design, something is just not jumping yet though. #42, show me a couple other abstract designs. You seem to be reading the feedback and responding well. Thanks everyone!
