Slogan
Discovering and Developing New Treatments for Wasting Diseases
What We Do
We are a European based start-up biotechnology company working on treatments for the wasting diseases caused by cancer and other chronic diseases.

Color Preferences
Our current logo is green for healing and growth (and it would be easiest to stick with that) but we are not strictly married to any given colour scheme. Red to convey muscle / heart / blood seems logical. Should be bright modern "scientific" colours. We prefer a transparent not dark background. Avoid black.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Be creative: we want something different, something that we have not thought of yet. The following is for broad guidance. The word Myotec combines the elements: Myo for muscle with Tec for Technology. You may want to have different colours or shades for each element but that is not necessary. You may or may not want to include the word “Therapeutics” but probably not the slogan “Discovering and Developing New Treatments for Wasting Diseases” (too much detail) again, your call. Our patients will have lost almost all of their body muscle and body fat and will be very ill. Muscle loss is the most important and these patients have almost no ability to walk. The image will thus probably make reference to muscles but not in a body-building sense (no biceps please!). We are looking for a refined, clean, scientific image. Probably quite abstract. Perhaps an image of muscle fibres rather than whole muscles, either in cross section or lengthways or the actin-myosin structure or the muscle spindle structure. The banding of muscle fibres might be a possible theme (see this for structure ideas http://www.sciencelearn.org.nz/contexts/sporting_edge/sci_media/images/muscle_structure). Inclusion of an abstract depiction of the heart might be appropriate but should not dominate. An alternative idea might be to look at the overall concept of depicting a wasting disease, although we have no pre-conceived idea of how that could be done, we are very open to your creative ideas and we will give good feedback. Please be sensitive to the fact that this is a terminal disease that people die of. The logo should be simple enough to work well as a black on white version (we will request this).
