Hi GT
I like the design direction but we will not end up with a double helix design, it is just too generic for us. However, if you could pick up a muscle theme in the image that would be great. A simplified muscle spindle might look great with your design. This could be drawn as a single helix around a spindle shape. See these sites for ideas on what this might look like:
