Our Target Audience:
Mainly, ourselves (and other financial investors and oil executives).
We are four fellows in our 50's who invest big dollars but who don't take ourselves too seriously. The first place this logo will be displayed is alongside other logos in an upscale, somewhat pompous club in Texas. But it will find itself onto other signs and letterheads.
We want it to appear important but, upon closer inspection, amusing. Our name, MQTA, stands for "Mas Que Tres Amigos" (literally, more than three friends) but we don't necessarily need the translation to appear on the logo. We are friends and we are celebrating that fact.

The attached file, Bowling Shirt3cropped.jpg, is one I designed for our MQTA Bowling Shirts and I am not suggesting it is appropriate for a general logo. However, I submit it (and a picture of us trying the shirts on for the first time) to give the designer a better feel for our personality.
