Thank you for participating in our contest!! We are looking forward to seeing your great ideas for our new logo for our SOCCER ORGANIZATION of 2,000 players.

Can you integrate a Maryland State flag somehow into the design? Not the entire flag, just pieces of it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Maryland

Also, maybe a cool idea would be to have (somewhere within the logo) the shape of the map of Maryland filled with the colors of the Flag...and have a soccer ball swooshing out of the center of the map: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maryland

We'd like to see all designs on the following four colored backgrounds: black, grey, purple & green.

DESIGNERS - can you look at the US Youth Soccer website: http://www.usyouthsoccer.org/index.html and begin to submit designs that are more similar to the US Youth Soccer logo and less of a crest/patch? Something that has our name, with a unique design twist? Or take a look at: http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/index.html

Also, can you include the following years somehwere in the logo: 1952 & 2011
