A view from our town's boardwalk (our icon): http://www.google.com/imgres?um=1&hl=en&sa=N&tbo=d&rlz=1G1ACGWCENUS425&biw=1366&bih=667&tbm=isch&tbnid=11IBdGW3UIbiFM:&imgrefurl=http://photo.net/photodb/photo%3Fphoto_id%3D7284400&docid=jX3oGJbGLSPfgM&imgurl=http://gallery.photo.net/photo/7284400-md.jpg&w=680&h=452&ei=HtK4UM_ZKcuq0AHOsYD4Dg&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=292&sig=107297747480935812184&page=1&tbnh=138&tbnw=219&start=0&ndsp=25&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0,i:87&tx=89&ty=74

11/30 - UPDATE TO ALL DESIGNERS: DISREGARD THE "FAMILY FRIENDLY" DEMOGRAPHIC - LET'S SEE YOUR SOPHISTICATED CONCEPTS!!

NOTE TO DESIGNERS: Do not be afraid to use no image, we're happy to look at Wordmark, Letterform, and Web 2.0. Can we play with the LR?

We're looking for slightly more sophisticated, masculine, professional coloring and design - targeted for an older demographic (18+). We're not really drawn to any cliche representations, and definitely do not wish to have any hearts in the design. Colorful is fine, but more sophisticated, modern hues are preferred.

We'd really enjoy something ocean themed, or boardwalk incorporated, since it is an icon of our hometown, but not overpowering, since we wish to expand beyond that. If you can make it happen, you've got a winner.

Great stuff so far, looking forward to more!

Thank you,
Chris

Our city icons are a boardwalk, the beach, ocean, etc. We're open to other pieces, but try to incorporate a piece of the town we're founded in.
