Here is a link to a logo that I did, using our main logo and then putting verified over it.....the problem is that when you make the logo small and put it on a profile you loose and can't read the words. I think we would like to achieve a logo in the form of a Mark either word or pictorial so that when someone sees it they know that person is a verified lawyer....I want to stay away from the days of seal images. Thank you

Discussion

Hello

We are looking for a logo so that we can use it on our website and print that will allow us to reduce to a size that can be shown on a profile. Currently our mark is difficult to read. So we are looking for an easy to see, bold look, that when it is on the profile it stands out, and a consumer can say that lawyer is a verified lawyer.

Here is what we are currently using, as you can see it is cluttered and difficult to read and see when made small on the profile.

http://www.lawyersguide.com/lawyers/Illinois/Cook_County/

We may need to even make the logo smaller for the profiles than what is there, but yet still be easy to see!

We will also need to make it big for copy and discussion about the verified lawyer.

Thank you, and good luck.

Logo Designer
Hello, I was just wondering if you want to see the Inc. portion or .com included in the logo. Thanks.

Thank You. On this LOGO we are looking for something that is like an approval that this Lawyer has been verified. The Logo should try to instill the thoughts of "Verified Lawyer" or "Lawyer Verified"; like a check mark, or seal (but not big fan of seal), or something that makes you think that the lawyer has been checked out or has been approved by Lawyers Guide that their credentials are good.

We don't need the Inc. or .com in this logo

Google Images: Verified Lawyers

http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&biw=1185&bih=566&gbv=2&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=verified+listing&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=

Again, not a fan of seals....

Thanks,

Hello

We are trying to create a mark/image that stands alone so when it is on a lawyer profile (which could be small), or marketing piece, it stands out, but then to the right of the image we would like words that describe the Mark, "Verified Lawyer" or "Verified Lawyers".

Also, depending on how it looks to add the name Lawyers Guide below the words "Verified Lawyer.

Thank you.

Comments to Designs:

1. Doesn't have to match current LawyersGuide logo, neither in look or color, but would be nice if it somehow complimented it.

2. GOAL of developing this new logo/mark is to distinquish a listed lawyer on the site as a "Verified Lawyer". Needs to be legible and could simply be comprised of just those two words (treatment of Verified Lawyer (singular -not plural), Letters, Check Mark in some Mark Fashion (circle, box etc..)

Analogy would be a BMW car that is "Certified", carrying an additional Certified Vehicle mark /logo to distinguish it from other, non-certified cars on the lot. (i.e...Not necessary to say "BMW-Certified"..)

3. Explore color: Complimentary to current Blues/ black of the corp logo. (black and gold?)..other colors that stand out blue/gree etc..

4. Feel free to explore other options and designs to carry the above coments

Again, thank you!
