Color Preferences
Red needs to be in the design, even if only accent color. Gold and black (or dark grey if it looks better) are other colors.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I do tend to use my initials LS when I quickly sign my name, so if you could somehow create a logo that uses my full name Laura Stack AND the LS initial, that would be cool. And I'd really like the tagline to be there if it doesn't make the logo too busy: "Turning Strategy into Performance"

I also like modern-looking clock hands. Attached an idea.

The site colors will be heavily red with gold accents (and black or dark grey).

Attached a file as a sample of text treatment on my name to match my new book that might work well.

Here's the link to my new book on Amazon coming out in March: http://www.amazon.com/Execution-IS-Strategy-Leaders-Achieve/dp/1609949684/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1382122881&sr=8-1&keywords=execution+is+the+strategy

Will need a reverse logo also supplied including greyscale. Need .png, .gif. .jpg, .ai, .eps, .pdf

Can anyone incorporate some modern clock hands?

If the clock hands can look like a CHECK mark (around 10:05) that would be even better.

How about the LS standing out bold and then the rest of the name after it, so LS is the main part but "aura" and "tack" after it? Maybe with a soft clock hands behind it?

What about the clock look in the bottom of a large script "L" or "S" initial? Like the circle in the bottom of a script S could be the "clock" and you could put hands in it? Then spell out the rest of the name from that (maybe in a smaller or different font).

Hi everyone! See the file I just added to the brief with my new book cover. See how the word Execution shows movement?

Can anyone play with my name as a font itself showing movement like that in the styling (my name looks "fast" and "speedy"?). Maybe a gradient? Or the capital letter for initial LS very strong and name smaller.

Also can you try a "red to black" gradient version? Starting red on the left and moving to black on the right? The entire logo changes color red to black (like it happens in business going from in the red to in the black)?

What else shows "speed, efficiency, drive" besides clocks? Can anyone represent acceleration or speed in a concept? How can we represent a company speeding forward with agility?

Okay, I have an idea. Can anyone show my name itself "Laura Stack" as a bar chart or graph going up from left to right, showing profits? Then add a gradient from left to right from red to black (how business moves from red to black). Then my tagline underneath.

Literally make the LETTERS in my name the bar, please (the L is little, then the A is higher, then the U is higher, then the R, etc., so that the letters make a bar chart showing an arrow at the top. Use block letters with a gradient from light red, red, burgundy, charcoal, black, etc. With tagline under the entire thing (Turning Strategy Into Performance). Love to see this if anyone wants to mock it up for me.

Also moving away from the clock I think. Need speed, performance, business, speed to be main message. Can anyone make my name itself with a font that shows forward motion? Just upped the prize!!!!!

I just attached a file with a text treatment from my book cover. It would be great to see my name in that style.

Still looking for great concepts showing acceleration, speed, great business results.
