I really like the moving speedometer concept, as it's all about speed! Could you play with it a bit more. Maybe a charcoal? Or centered?

Great! Can you rotate the speedometer left just a bit, so the stick isn't so close to my name? Maybe a gradient on the letters in my name itself also showing motion? And darken the font in the tagline slightly so it's easier to read?

Client
Like #106! Shows forward motion. Any way to make the dial of the speedmeter a light gold to pull in my other color? Tagline is still a bit hard to read. Can we try another font with no serif? Some of the other taglines are easier to read.

Hi! Can you try just the three swoosh lines on the dial face gold?

Client
Hi! On #146, I like the gold. See the graphic of the speedometer I just uploaded in the room. Let's try:

ALL RED for Laura Stack letters

The dial of the speedometer (the squares) goes from RED on the left to BLACK on the right.

Add the little tick marks of a speedometer around the dial in gold

Thank you!

Try this:

Actually, let's try LAURA in RED and STACK in BLACK!

The dial of the speedometer (the squares) goes from RED on the left to BLACK on the right.

Add the little tick marks of a speedometer around the dial in GOLD, and the dial is black.

Try to make the lines moving on the speedometer in gray or charcoal maybe, so they are separate from the rest of the graphic.

Thank you!

To to make my name look like it's "moving" (see the sample of my book I uploaded to the room).

Hello! Thank you! Did you see my last request for revisions? I'd like to see it like this to see if I like it better:

Let's try LAURA in RED and STACK in BLACK!

Thicker on the font too

The dial of the speedometer (the squares) goes from RED on the left to BLACK on the right.

Add the little tick marks of a speedometer around the dial in GOLD, and the dial is black.

Try to make the lines moving on the speedometer in gray or charcoal maybe, so they are separate from the rest of the graphic.

how about this #162

Client
On #162, can you make the LAURA more red and less burgundy?

Client
Mmmmm...can you remove some of the space in between the names? put "Laura" and "Stack" closer together?

Client
How about instead of lots of little gold dashes, larger, less frequent gold dashes on the speedometer?

here i comes #207

Client
Okay I like the spacing better!

Can you try a differen font sans serif for the name that's thicker?

Liked the darker red. Try same color as the 5th red spot on the dial please.

The gold bars on the dial make the main ones heavier gold and longer (10, 20, 30, 40 etc.)

Thank you!

GREAT! I think last request: can I see it without the "speed" lines behind the arrow? Thank you!

Comes : ) #215

Client
I think that's better I can't decide. I do like the way it shows the needle is moving. Can you work on them a bit? My colleague says:

"If you want the speed lines to show movement then have him look at some cartoons were it’s well done. The way he had them they didn’t add much movement."

See how #2 has speed lines? Maybe not so thick looking?

lin

yes i add that to show a movement arrow, now its more thin flash #222

Better! See the tagline font on #6? Can you try something that stands out a bit more and easier to read? And not italics.

Great! Much better. Could you have just a TOUCH less shading on the Laura Stack, just a tick?

Client
Can you put a touch more space between the names Laura and Stack? When printed, it looks like one word, so I think it will help the separation. Just a bit. Also can I see what it will look like grayscale with light gray on Laura and Black on Stack?

Great I like that better! Could I see the rest of the grayscale version on #247 with the dial and everything as well, so I can see what it's going to look like printed in black and white. Thank you!

Don't worry for that, i always give some alternative color in the final files, such as greyscale, black and white. : )

Yes, thanks I know, I just want to make 100% sure I like the way it looks when the logo is printed. :)

Done #271

Client
That is interesting! Could you start with the same color of Laura name and end with the same color as Stack name? So it "moves" one from the other with same colors? Ending a little darker not as much gray.

Client
Definitely like the red/black name not the gradient.

Okay so on 271, start the dial with the same exact color red as the name "Laura" and end the dial with the same color black as "Stack" with the gradient in between.

Client
Can we try it with no shading behind my name? A friend said it doesn't look like it's moving but looks "blurry" to her instead. Yikes!

Client
246 and 274 - keep dial gradient and new name with no shadow.

Hello

Now #274 #278 #277 are no shadow

Client
278 the words Laura and Stack seem close together again. Could you just take 246 and remove the shadow?

lin
Logo Designer
sorry for that, i thought it to much separate after i remove the shadow, so i move it close again...
now i just remove shadow #279
