Generally, we like colorful, but perhaps fewer colors than 1 and 2 currently show. Also, we definitely want to convey a "smart" feel.

Logo 1-
Too many colors, and probably too bright.
Like the solidness of the letters, reflecting trust and security. The fun comes out through the lower case “i”, which is also nice. Feels too similar to Toys R Us.

Logo 2-
Too many colors, too bright, don’t love the reflection.
However, really like the thought that went into the puzzle pieces which look like kids holding hands. That ingenuity is thoughtful. Plus, while we like the puzzle/technical/game aspects, which also has an education component to it thorough the puzzle pieces, it feels a little stiff and perhaps too game or puzzle focused. Storytelling and entertainment are equally important.
Font should be more playful.

#10 I like the idea of a person incorporated into the letter "k" but it doesn't feel quite right. Perhaps another shot at this or some other item (eg a puzzle piece pr hame pawn) might look more natural?

#12 like the puzzle, but font needs to be much more simple.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion.
~~ When you provide feedback to designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested." We'd like to know what you don't want so we can give you the design you do want.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ The first phase of the contest is the "Open" phase, and everyone can submit during that time.
~~ After your contest's initial "Open" phase closes, it will enter the "Top 5" phase; only the designers of top 5 ranked designs will be able to submit revisions at that time.
~~ When "Top 5" ends, the "Judging" phase begins. The designer of the 1st ranked design will be the only designer who can submit revisions at that time.
