no idea my man, i just tried to make the buildings a part of the arrowhead like the client asked... are you refering to your design of #53 ? if so... i didnt even see that design

Using an infridgement of an official logo is prohibited. I´m very sorry for the contest holder but it seems the arrow head may not be used as it is from the official Kansas city chiefs logo? http://www.kcchiefs.com/

The arrowhead is mearly a symbol. As a former KC Chief myself, it is an extension of my previous life and a representation of a symbol of where I do work (in Kansas City). Indians many years ago were among the many residents of this area and thus the Chiefs name and logo. There are many companies with Arrowheads in the KC Area.

How are you doing ? hope you are doing great. As this contest is about to come to an end, and you will be chosing the best new logo for your company, i just wanted to have your attention to some important point that you might be aware of or might not. I hope i am not miss understood by pointing out this to you and that you understand.

When the contest ends and you have made your mind and desicion about the winner logo, the winner gets the 1st place, but the 2nd and 3rd place and going on forward, 4th, 5th, 6th , etc , each one or slot should be filled with a seperate designer and different concept you found second best, third best to follow etc.

This helps towards us designers ranking and also it is a way from you to show your appreciation to the hard effort and trails put from the beginning by one designer or appreciating a nice design concept put earlier by a designer that led to developing on right direction for others and you getting the best you could at the end.

It feels frasturating for other designers and pointless of giving all the top rankings for same winner designer, while those were just a small variations of the winning design and therefore the other places 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc are not filled with different designs from a different designer.

So i hope you understood my point i was just trying to point out to you here and all the best of luck in chosing your winner logo, there are really good ones out there.

Since when is this policy Dazzle??? Because I saw in many other competitions on this website on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd... and so on the same designer. So what is different now??? Please reply.

That is the right proper thing to be done, and you know it, what makes you so upset that i am pointing this out to the CH ? at the end he is free to do what he feels like doing ofcourse, i am just letting him know that other designers who gave time and effort to his contest can be rewarded in this way if he felt like doing so.

I am extremely pleased at the effort put in by so many of you. Florian, Asti, Riback, Schnick have worked extremely hard to provide many different "edited versions" Perhaps one thing that could be done in the future is to allow Clients to commment ie. provide feedback on their experiences with designers. Giving additional "points" warranted for quality efforts which (just are quite right).

Sorry Tom, but now the no 1 is very far from what you ask for in this contest. Why? You lead us in another direction.

It is unfortunate that there is only one winner. I want to thank all entries. This was a difficult decision. I want to especially thank Florian (who was #1 for most of the time and provided many versions and hard work), Riback (who provided some very unique designs that were "Right-On" what I talked about) these two.. by my own admission should have been the winners based on client input and exchange. But as is the case many times I'm sure, the designer input is very valuable as I had already "tinkered" with this design but something was just not exactly right this is thereason we didn't know what we wanted. Ultimately ysonmez provided some unique aspect which caught our eye and set #1 for a while. After much discussion we agreed with our primary discussion which was a construction element, an arrowhead, and some uniqueness in a clean look. THIS WAS VERY TOUGH as I know many of you spent quite a bit of time. Congratulations to Carrion for another successful design
