Slogan
Celebrating Service to Our Community
What We Do
This is a women's service organization that encourages women to look forward and improve the community for the next generation by volunteering and bettering the community today.
Industry
Non-Profit
Color Preferences
I will be uploading an image for reference. This entire logo should be designed only using 100% black. No screens, shades, or gradients of color. Because the entire logo is only in black, it should be a strong play of positive and negative/ black and white.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
This logo needs to be based on the organization's current logo (which I will be uploading). Please recreate the entire logo in vector format. The palm trees and stylized "JLM" letters should be redrawn exactly as shown on reference image. Instead of the sun, please design a diamond gemstone shape with the text "75 Years" inside the diamond gemstone. Please move the sun to another area of the logo. We would like to see the sun colored as presently shown on attachment (white fills, black outlines/details) plus a variation where the sun is filled with black and the details/outlines are reversed in white please. Please create an overall lockup or emblem and add the word "Celebrating" above the logo and "Service To Our Community" below the logo. All text should be sans serif and modern in look.

Logo Designer
Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ You, the Client, are very important! Your active participation is the single greatest factor influencing this contest. Active participation by you, the Client, helps you get the logo design you want!
~~ What's active participation? It's updating the brief with more information for Designers to work with as the contest progresses, providing feedback to Designers on their entries when they're submitted, and ranking designs at least once a day.
~~ When you provide feedback to Designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion.
~~ Rank designs at least once each day -- this will encourage Designers to submit more entries!
~~ Ranking prevents your contest from going idle! Active contests attract more Designers.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed. Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Please note: if you're asking for a design that will require several hours to create, to attract Designers willing to invest that amount of time the prize should be at least $400-$500. All "Character" style logos fall into this category.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested." We'd like to know what you don't want so we can give you the design you do want.
~~ The first phase of the contest is the "Open" phase, and everyone can submit during that time.
~~ After your contest's initial "Open" phase closes, it will enter the "Top 5" phase; only the top 5 ranked Designers will be able to submit revisions at that time.
~~ The "Top 5" Designers are the first 5 Designers in a contest, not the first 5 designs.
~~ When "Top 5" ends, the "Judging" phase begins. The Designer of the 1st place design will be the only Designer who can submit revisions at that time.

Client
Designers,

Please remember to keep all type at a readable size. On the concepts presently presented, "Service To Our Community" is too small to be read. Please try an alternate treatment. It's OK to arch text across the top and bottom of the JLM lockup or to create a circle of text around the JLM lockup. The text must appear easily readable please.

Also, I would prefer the JLM not be covered/hidden by the "Celebrating" text.

I would also like some dimension/uniqueness to the diamond shape and would prefer unique sans serif fonts.

Thanks!!

Hello Designers:

I would like to see some alternate concepts explored please that do not include the word "Celebrating" inside a banner. I want a variety of approaches to choose from please. Right now I have received several concepts that are all very similar in approach.

I would like JLM to be the focal point, followed by the 75 years as next important please.

Thanks!!

Hello Designers:

I would love to see some ideas from more designers for additional perspectives and look forward to seeing some that follow my original directive of placing the diamond/75 years at the bottom right corner of the "M" in the "JLM" lettering.

Thanks
