Nice, clean, simple look. My web-designer suggested a stand-alone logo (without the wording). I like the shadow...

#4 communicates family values and home... The Blueprint is the metaphor I use in my book (Make Your Money Count). Financial life planning requires a Blueprint -- just like building a house.
#18 beautifully captures the idea of "financial freedom" and it makes me think of Jesus' words: look at the birds, they don't worry about money and Our Father in heaven considers us far more valuable than birds... He will provide for our needs.
#10 is simple, clean, VERY professional.
#21 looks cool and gives the impression of technical stuff related to money -- and\or technical marks on a blueprint. I like it, but I'm wanting to be simple and inviting vs. complex and expert...
Hope these comments help. I'm amazed at the talent out there and I really appreciate your efforts. I'll pay $50 to the top 3 second place designs in addition to the winner (hope that helps you keep thinking and "creating" a little more). And, I'll send the top 4 a copy of my book as a token of my appreciation. Actually, I'll send a copy to anyone of you who wants a copy (send me your address if you do ;-)
Thank you!

(The Blueprint is a tool I use with clients in the process of helping them create a financial plan)
The Blueprint with the birds appeals to me because it communicates "Financial Freedom" in a subtle way. For me "FREEDOM" is the main reason for financial planning.
However, my wife, Connie has a different core value... For her, "Financial Security" is the bottom line. And she loves the idea that is represented by a home and a family. WHILE I LOVE THE BLUEPRINT DEPICTING FREEDOM WITH THE BIRDS... I'D LIKE TO SEE SOME DESIGNS THAT SHOW THE BLUEPRINT DESIGNED TO PROTECT "HOME AND FAMILY", HOUSE AND PEOPLE...
THANKS!

I like your #49. Can you try it with the horse on the left of the wording? Thank you!

Please also look at Make Your Money Count -- my other contest. Due to the amazing talent in these designs for The Blueprint, I was hoping to see what you might come up with for my website as well: MakeYourMoneyCount.org (I'll be offering workshops in Houston for churches, businesses, and community service organizations). Thank you!!

My web-designer really likes 39, 45,47 and the paper plane -- could you make it look like it had been thrown and it was flying off into the sky???

Thank you!

Is there any way you can include a gyroscope in your "Blueprint" design #54/55??
Thank you!

I've been thinking about #63. For technical reasons (how we plan to use the logo), I'm leaning towards #63 partly because of its size. I like the fact that the image is beside the wording. Here are a couple suggestions that would improve #63 and make it a powerful winner:
--Make the image less cartoony, more realistic (this logo will be used in a professional context)
--The buildings are a nice touch... at first glance, they reminded me of 911, the family in the front (coupled with the big city, the trees, the planet, made me think of my responsibilty: as a wealthy American, as a consumer who is responsible for the planet God gave us to manage, and as a Husband and Father... My family is my most precious responsibilty -- the most compelling reason I have a financial plan/financial goals...
--The planet is great, not sure if its possible to add a bird or two in the sky to add a little more beauty/freedom -- but if possible, that would be a nice touch

I'm amazed at the talent and creativity of many of your designs. I love the birds but the image is too large for some of the logo's applications. I'm totally impressed with the blueprint with the gyroscope and blueprint page turned up!

Hope these comments help.
Thank you!

#63... The logo image (earth, etc.) is very small so the more clarity in the images the better... instead of cartoon characters, maybe sharp outlined shadows of a family or group? The earth and clouds work great. The buildings could be a little more like the 911 towers -- again, crisp sharp lines would be fine, I think (but tall, straight, more realistic, more serious would be better for our application).

#66 -- Wow. Thanks for the fast response! Sorry I failed to give you more feedback in my first response. See my notes above, please. If you can make the buildings and people more clear and a little more realistic, I think we have a winner.
Thank you!

I have to take my wife's car to the shop (and then I'm walking home so it will be about 45 minutes before I can see or respond to this contest). Thank you!

#74 - great buildings!
Can you do this...
Use the people from #70 (white with black outlines...)
Use the trees and clouds from #72
Change the shade/color of the buildings to be the same as #72 -- the shade of the CENTER BUILDING LOOKS PERFECT.
Thank you!

#80 -- the buildings are perfect. The clouds aren't working. I know I asked for white clouds but I didn't realize that would require black outlines... Can we go with the original blue clouds??
And can you transfer the people from #10 and put them into #80 instead of the people we have now? I like the people in #10 a lot better...
Thank you!

Are you open to other NY city imagery?

#89-- Can you do the following, please:
--put the logo to the left of the wording...
--make "financial success" more clear (its small and hard to see)
Thank you!

#92-- I like the concept and it makes sense to me. Its a different direction than I was thinking but it is more clearly connected to the purpose of the Blueprint as you say...Any ideas for adding something "financial" to the image? And, do you have any other characters to consider? I'm still thinking...
Thank you

#87--I really like this image but my marketing director is telling me that #89 is more his preference (something simple, clean, very professional). I'm reconsidering some of your earlier designs for the blueprint... #87 I'd love to see this theme adapted to my other contest: Make Your Money Count
The result of the work I do as a financial planner is to help people "make your money count". The tool/process I use is "The Blueprint for Financial Success".
The gyroscope (as I say in all three of my books) represents the clarity, power, and direction that comes from knowing your purpose... Starting with your core values and life's purpose, The Blueprint (process) helps you "connect your resources to what matters most... The result is you really can then... MAKE YOUR MONEY COUNT.
Hope this helps
Thank you!

#89 -- is it possible to turn the corner of one page UP to give the appearance of an actual piece of paper (The Blueprint is actually a real document, its a large printed page that I use in client appointments to gather information -- a factfinder/planning tool).

Thank you!
