Any ideas for how to add something creative to communicate the concept of "connecting your resources to your life?" I love the Burke's Team logo you designed! The way you integrated the overall theme and made the logo communicate something bigger was brilliant. Hope you can do something like this for "The Blueprint". My book, Make Your Money Count, uses the metaphor of a blueprint to illustrate how financial planning helps you build the life of your hopes and dreams. Thanks for your entry! -- Jim

PS: Yeah, finding the right balance between simple, clear -- and clutter is challenging. Creative minds are a real gift. I'm praying that you'll have a brainstorm ;-)
Cool! I'm looking forward to seeing it. I'm about to go car shopping with my son, Brandon, so I may not be able to reply until later tonight or tomorrow. Good luck!! --Jim
I really like this revision. My only concern is that the house communicates that "The Blueprint" is about building a house... What kind of Icon might work inside The Blueprint to communicate "Financial Freedom"? So far, your new one is #1. Thank you! -- Jim
...Just a thought here... On the cover of my first book, I included an image of an old building with a "keystone" over the door (it was a grand old building). The book was about trust and I included a small icon of a "keystone" on every page of the book (in the header). A keystone may be a nice touch in the center of The Blueprint (if you're not coming up with another/better idea). Hope that helps. Thanks for your good work. -- Jim
Thanks, we have time to get it right. I like family and home in there 'cuz they are most important reason for financial success : ) and keystone shape is nice to work with.
I'm really liking the house. Probably because my wife liked it best -- and it made sense to her. I agree... family is the best reason for financial planning. So far, yours is the best. I'll ask my web-designer (he's my friend) look at it, too. He'll want to be sure it works from a graphic/printing perspective. Thanks!! -- Jim
