OK...my wife helped me realize a major placement for my logo is ON a photograph. Therefore it needs to be fairly simple as it will be laying over a variety of colors. The more I look the more I'm not a big fan of really casual fonts like #2. #3 - too abstract. #1 is in first b/c it's refined. #6&7 might be too casual? #4 & 5, fonts a little casual, colors definitely have to be more towards white/grey/blk because of the photograph placement.

Torn between #1 & #8. I like the fact I can see the J better on 8, but I like the fonts on #1 better. #1 still in place because of it's more refined look, but I'll get more input later today from some of my employees...might change!

Just wanted everyone to know if I didn't throw it out, it's still in consideration, no matter how low on the list. This is getting harder...I'll give more direction when I figure out what the heck I want! I'm going to start working on comments individually now that I've gotten some feedback from the people who work for me.

I really think the winner is going to be determined more by the creativity with the JW or the graphical portion than anything else. I have hundreds of fonts and I'm fairly good with photoshop already, plus I can direct you a bit on the typeface. What I specifically am unable to do myself is the graphical portion. Keep playing with the fonts too, but focus on giving me variety and creativity with the graphic that will hopefully become a big part of my branding.

I've seen a lot of JW, but nothing that mixes Elite Photography in with JW, or just maybe EP? or E? I mentioned to one designer that I personally wear a lot of Affliction clothing, more hardcore skulls, tattoos, angel wings etc. kind of style. I'm not sure how to combine my style with a logo aimed at weddings and women, but one of you geniuses might give it a try! I also surf....I wear a lot of O'Neil, Hurley, and other surf brands. I really want this logo to show ME in it...just not sure I know how to explain how to do that! Great submissions....and rankings are a little messy right now in the middle...will continue to make changes.

Heads up to any procrastinators....I won't be able to give much feedback at all after Saturday night. Sunday is slammed for me and I may be out of the office until after the contest ends. Try to make your submissions FOR FEEDBACK by Saturday at about 10PM.

Pay attention to #51 all you creative genuises.....it's too feminine right now, but it has huggeee potential. biink is paying attention to my notes....word to the wise. It's the first logo to start to hint at WHO I am.

OK...now take notes on #54. This is definitely me, and is VERY unique in the photography community. I might want to push it a little grittier, a little tougher. Don't go too far because we are doing weddings here. My photos will speak for me, but I don't want the logo to detract either.

OK EVERYONE - THIS IS IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I HAVE EXTENDED THE DATE BY TWO DAYS TO COMPLETE THE CONTEST. THIS DOESN'T MEAN I WON'T END IT EARLY, BUT BECAUSE OF SUPERBOWL, I MOVED THE DATE!

I will review again tonight after some people get a chance to check everything out....thanks for all the submissions, you have all done a great job. Small note - please don't waste your time with really simplistic designs at this point. If I go simple, I've already got what I want. Stay with the "harly motorocycle", "Affliction", biker style logos if you want to win.

It's getting really hard! The rankings are NOT in exact order at all. If you are in the top half you have a shot. Bottom half is possible, but unlikely. I have to get some more eyes on these! Thanks!

Great job everyone...I have a meeting tomorrow at noon with my marketing agent and we will narrow it down and I hope to make my final decision late tomorrow. What an awesome selection everyone gave me....I appreciate everyone's submissions!
