ISS - International Sales SupportLogo Design Contest

I did not realize that all comments are made have been to the individual designers and have not been seen by the rest so here a general post

My comments so far:

1) I do like design that have a globe or earth map in them.

2) I like simple designs better

3) I like what has been done for "Information Technology Professionals" and "Our World Connect" to give you some ideas.

The longer I look at the various designs, the more I like the simplest designs with blue, gray, white and black colors ( I know it sounds boring) but my customers are not very flashy either.

What should "speak" to them is "ISS" which is what they should keep in mind. ISS works phonetically in all languages I work in and is easiest to remember. I kind of come to the conclusion that the logo design itself plays a smaller part than I had originally thought.

Hi all,

We see some nice designs coming. It gets more difficult by the hour to decide which one we like.

Just one note: we think we like the ones with white background better just for the reason of producing business cards.

We like any of the designs so far listed in the top 9 and any can be a contender. We have pushed some of similar designs a bit further down but that does not mean that we do not value other designs as well. We also will make sure that we rate all designers individually so you get the points you deserve for your rankings.

As mentioned earlier, I believe the "ISS" on itself is almost the logo and an additional flashy part might be for the customer to remember where they left my business card (at least I do, I look at a logo before I read a name on a card).

I also like the ones better(but only slightly) where the "globe" or "flashy part" is not above the text but such as shown in entry's # 70 and 48. It think it looks better on business cards and to insert under e-mails.

Colors are as we like.

We're impressed with the creativity of you all with so little to work with. There are quite a number of designs we like and we like you to keep exploring the possibilities.

We think you have an idea of what we like but if you wanted to stray a bit away form the color & design pattern from what we had indicated, we sure don't want to hold you back and encourage you to post them and we'll do our best to give a feedback asap.

Just wanted to state that in the ranking we rank on the design approach and not so much on the individual minor detail of each design. Meaning that I'll put up only one (1) of each design and we can worry later whether a text has be to light blue or dark blue, the text has to be slightly taller or shorter and so on...

I understand that these things can be finalized with the designer once we pick the finalist.

It's the ideas of the layout that counts for us.
