Industry Religious Color Preferences We are interested in multiple colors. Perhaps some blues, greens, or purples. No oranges or browns. Whatever color harmony you think is inviting. On the one hand you might try something pastel, on the other you might try something metallic. Our Ideas & Additional Information Our current logo incorporates a cross and mountain theme. We'd like to keep those elements, but with more modern lines. You might visit our website www.myhosanna.org to see what image we are transforming from. The picture and name portions should be easily separated so as to be used independently if so desired. They should also look attractive whether placed side-by-side or with picture over name. I don't see where to input the format(s) desired. In addition to .eps, .ai would also be helpful. All the work is top notch and a pleasure to see. We like the larger crosses. We wouldn't mind seeing a few more curves. Thank you for using the suggested colors but feel free to broaden your color pallet. 13 years ago Hosanna Lutheran Church Client Communicating a vision for a logo is a bit more challenging than I imagined. I wanted to try to share some ideas that might give you more freedom. We'd be interested in some free form curves in both the cross and the mountains. Also most entries seem to go with a portrait image to the left of a landscape wordmark, but I would be interested in seeing a landscape image above a landscape wordmark. 13 years ago Hosanna Lutheran Church Client As I've noted to some of you directly, we are a bit guilty of group-think and so we are trying to synthesize our ideas, our tastes, and our preferences. Thus you may notice some awkward rankings changes. As a general rule we do seem to be favoring the simple. That means in terms of design itself and the number of colors in a single design. Four colors may be too much. We continue to appreciate all that you do. Hopefully these comments will help you refine your best ideas. Thank you. 13 years ago Hosanna Lutheran Church Client Hello all, I must apologize, having come from a funeral today, I'm a bit emotionally spent. After a night's rest and reviewing some comments, I'll offer feedback on the most recent submissions. Thank you one and all for sharing your talented gifts with this decision process. 13 years ago
