First let me say, God bless your ministry. Its always an honor to try and design for more than the typical commercialism of our world. I have been blessed to do a great many logos for churches and ministries and even some small businesses looking to further His kingdom as well...always an honor.

With the younger generation increasingly slipping away from the church, I always design church logos with them in mind. My entries are often very simple icon forms....similar to those used by social media sites and the look that younger tech savvy people are accustomed to seeing. It says that your message while timeless, is also current and relevant. Which of course it truly is.

Here are some examples of other churches and ministries that I have been selected for here at Logo Tournament:

https://logotournament.com/contests/lanier_hills_church

I list these, because it shows different themes that you may feel inspire ideas for your design.

My first entry here is a simple "H" with mountains and a cross forming it.

I welcome your feedback and suggestions.

Bear in mind that often a logo will need to be laid out vertically and horizontally, due to space requirements (Web headers are often horizontal as is letterhead etc...While t-shirts and signage might be vertically stacked.

Here is a horizontal version of the vertical one that I submitted before.
