Our Ideas and Additional Information:
needs to be instantly recognizable as a helicopter business. I like the idea of using the helicopter in the design for a stand alone logo. (could be seperated from the words Hopper Chopper and still be unique to our company) This is not a must, just a thought.

Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
I like the fact that the one we have ranked #1 (design #50) is unique to Hopper Chopper. The helicopter itself could be used alone as a compliment to the overall logo.
Would be curious to see what the words HopperChopper incoporated into a "turning" rotor blade would look like.
To all designers in this contest (and CH): I have reinstated the concept by Brandmaster. I will allow the #11 concept by biink to stand at the CHs discretion.
Any other 'HC' designs will be deleted. If you have questions please contact customer support through the HELP section.
To clarify - the choppers that have the body/frame as HCs is used by 2 designers. No more submissions like that please. Any other submission are welcome.
Starting to like the designs with the most overall height as compared to the long thin designs. As these will go on the back of t-shirts as well, the height helps.
This business is in Dallas,Texas, so maybe there is a play on the shape of Texas and/or Dallas skyline somehow. Or anything else that related to Texas or Dallas. Not a requirement, just a thought.......
So far most of these are way too boring. Need something that says adventure and excitement like a helicopter does.
Need something more Current and with the times. Most of the stuff so far is out of date. Looking for 21st century. Some of these would work, but no home runs yet.
This business is located in Texas if anybody wants to bring Texas into the design. Just a thought!
We really appreciate all the effort trying to get us what we want.
Some designer has ask if if the H and C can still be used. I ask the moderator(Dazzleinteractive) and here is his response:
they can, if its originally your suggestion in the first place and not an exclusive designer suggestion or take on the HC designs forming the helicopter shape.
go ahead and state so in the public comment area of your contest and clarify it so that new designers joining your contests know what is allowed and what is not.
So anyone wanting to use the H and C will be permitted
Some information on how rankings work on this site:
How to Rank and Thank Designers: When it comes time for final rankings, designers appreciate when you choose the top three CONCEPTS (as opposed to variations of the same design) for the gold, silver and bronze awards. If you want to rank two different concepts by the same designer in the top three, that's fine. Also, rank as many entries as possible, because designers get points added to their overall site standing for each blue ribbon they get.
This is how points are distributed:
1st place - 50 points 2nd place - 20 points 3rd place - 10 points 4-6th place - 5 points 7-10 place - 3 points
After that, each ranked entry gets one point for the designer. Nobody will be insulted by being ranked last, the points are still good! So if you pull some entries out of the "Not Interested" group and give them a rank, the designer gets some benefit from entering your contest.
Hope that's helpful, lots of contest holders don't realize this and most are glad to know. It's a good way to thank designers who don't win the contest prize, but who worked very hard to offer you lots of options to choose from for a great logo.
