for some reason I didnt see the ideas and additional info question when I filled this out. I am looking for something very 2.0 Would like to explore the concept of wands/ fairies/ magic and of course connecting it to real estate ie a house is always good. So looking that is 2.0 and conveys a sense of wonder/magic + housing.

Id like the pixie part of the logo to be very symbolic and able to stand on its own. This logo will be used or at least that piece in a list of ways to "share" this to share the site.

This will first and foremost be used for an iphones application so try to think of it in that context and the kind of iphones applicatoin that can be built off the logo. We need a very strong symbolic element. Also the p in pixie could be just a large e. eixie kind of looks cool in the right font with the first e being a p. possibly put the s backwards as well? where the a is a house similar to the http://www.cobrokenation.com house?

I am pretty open to what this logo could end up looking like ie I think something like the starbucks logo could work here with a pixie in a circle.. I like wolv's eclicks logo if you want to take a look at that on this site. Also you can see pixie instead of as a fairy as more like pixilation so something like the xerox logo could be intereting.

also magic can be represented by a magic want. like showing a pixilated house being generated by a magic want would be cool. I do like the fairy thing too so. I dont want the fairy to look like a butterly or angel which is my conceprt a little with #1 & #2 - not sure what would make them look less like that and more alike a fairy? the wand? bigger wings??

I like autoanswer's NSC logo.. some variation of that could be cool

the #5 & 4 that I ranked are even as far as I am concerned.. I like things about both of them.

in my head I had hauspixie in the same/ style font potentially - certainly doesn't have to be but it might simplify things if you have a lot of other magical stuff going on.

Thank you for your comments. I saw the fairy JPEG that you posted, and I drew a quick representation of It. I will also incorporate a magic wand into the previous design #1, and post.

Let me just explain again exactly what I need

1. I will need a version for the button of an iphones application - this does not need to have any text or font on it can be purely sumbolic
2. I need a very basic version maybe just using silver and white to go on a website like http://www.elliman.com where homebuyers can be encouraged to follow the link to get additional info. So something toned down but beautiful.
3. Regular full text logo with icon
4. scaled back version of just the icon to be in a "share" kind of a list. Could just be the letters if the icon itself is too detailed.

I do like the colors pink and blue as the main colors. Will want a version in red and black so if need be it wont clash with http://cobrokenation.com if ever I need to display together.

I would say #19 and #21 are tied for first place right now.

def cant use anything copyrighted (don't want to get sued). I didn't recognize the outlined image as the same thing I am glad that was pointed out. I like the style of that fairy because its detailed but again do need my very own fairy.

There is no saying how much it would cost to buy that copyrighted item. On top of that it would not serve the purpose of being just mine and therefore unique. The site rules expressly say designers can't use copyrighted items so it wasn't my expectation to have to worry about that (ie on top of paying the contest fee $1,000+ possibly for permission - who knows how expensive? That being said you don't have to start over just draw your own pixy? I am sure you are talented enough to draw a great pixy.

I know there are amazing artists on the site... this is my third time doing a logo contest here. I am looking for that wow logo. That grabs me and I just can't say no to. I can't stop looking at because it epitomizes the brand. I know I started this contest at the entry level but I tend to keep in touch with my artists as I am building websites and am in need of graphic design so would like to stay in touch with whichever artist I go with.

btw #73 and #42 were tied. I have no idea why they removed #73. I am a big fan of #42! I liked the simplicity and placement of the elements in #73 - thats pretty much what I had in mind. #73 expanded my thinking and so I really really like that one as well.

I am keeping #73 up.. because I like the simplicity as I said. Too bad it was clip art. I thought her pony tail could be simplier but I like the idea of the pony tail. She was too skinny in the waste and I think she could have different wings. Like the body position in general. If anyone one wants to work on that without using clipart I am all for it!!!

I think I am going to drop the open more doors tagline.

top 2 are tied for #1 spot right now. for #45 phone I think needs to be more prominent. They need to know its a phone so dont make it goofy looking but dont mind if its oversized. #79 maybe your pixie should have a little curl at the end of her shoes or pointier.

I like the idea of the pixie looking like a ballerina / elegant.

could I see something more abstract like just huaspixie with a swirl next to it? no actual pixie or wings??
