Harrington GroupLogo Design Contest

These are looking really good, keep the designs coming. We haven't seen anything perfect yet, but these are a good start. We would like to see more variations that use an abstract symbol instead of the H or HG lettering to get some comparisons to see what we like best. It would also be nice to see some more variations that use a background on the lettering, sort of like the "Network Solutions" logo in the attached png. We also want to make sure that the font and symbol clearly communicate that we are a technology company. We will be updating the ranking later today.

We just realized that the font examples file that was referenced in our description was not uploaded successfully previously. It has now been added and can be accessed from the contest brief under attachments.

We added a new document called "Symbols We Like.png". This should hopefully provide some ideas on the types of symbols we like. Also note, that we are open to the idea of adding additional colors to the symbol other than green, so feel free to propose colorful ideas. We also haven't seen the perfect shade of green yet. The only requirement is that the symbol is on the left. We're not sure whether we want the green to be dull or vibrant, but I would say not too much yellow in the green. Keep the great ideas coming!

At this stage we are leaning towards having an abstract object/shape on the left vs. using the lettering. We are still open to the idea of having just an "H", although it should be very subtle. Keep the great ideas coming!

We attached a new image called "Font We Like 3.png" to our contest brief.

Just a general note that none of the entries have the color green we are looking for. Overall most of the greens being used are too dark for our needs and have a bit too much blue in them. Also please no gradients or highlights on the text. If you use a gradient, it should be very subtle. We want the look of the text to be flat colored. For the symbols we are leaning towards something simple and abstract that denotes quality and technology. Lots of great entries so far! Thanks so much for all the great ideas.
