What We Do
[I need a logo for a product, not a company.] The product is a website where users post pictures about what matters most in their lives.

Color Preferences
Blue and white sound good based on the descriptions of common associations in western culture and what the website is about
Our Ideas & Additional Information
See the example logo a friend made me. He went with the theme of exploring hidden things about friends, like visibility through the clouds.

Along the idea of discovering things about people/friends, perhaps something with hidden treasure? Hide and seek?

Discussion

UPDATE: I wanted to clarify that the logo I provided has some elements that I like, but what was good about it is that it conveyed the idea of seeking out a better view. What I am NOT tied to is the cloud. I think there could have been any figure that people look out into the distance to see - and distance is all that it was meant to convey. I like the binoculars. Any tool like a binocular could work: telescope, magnifying glass, glasses, etc.

People and characters within the logo is a nice concept (and not necessary), but if they are used, I would prefer them to look like they are interacting.

UPDATE: A few clarifications.

I would like a distinctive 'g'. Either with a character, or more simply a non run-of-the-mill g. Check out the Aller font for an example. #30 has a good one.

Please don't combine letters, like m and p.

I like the tagline 'glimpse what matters'. You could separate the 'glimpse' product logo and perhaps put 'what matters' on a line below. That might win your entry some bonus love.
